My son and I had absolutely wonderful time staying at Foxhall. The property itself is beautiful. Views are amazing. It is very quiet and peaceful. It is also very easy access to Atlanta airport. We had lakeview room and it was perfect. Room was super clean. I can"t thank enough staff. They were so friendly and so helpful working super hard to make our stay enjoyable.
Had a great time spending the day fishing with my wife. We caught 12 bass total over about a 5 to 6 hour span. Foxhall provided a boat and trolling motor as well. They even have fishing poles as backup. It was definitely worth every penny. We will definitely be going back. There are so many activities they provide for individuals, groups, or families. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

We recently stayed at Foxhall Resort for a corporate retreat, and it ended up being one of those experiences you don’t really forget. The property itself is beautiful. It’s a huge space with scenic lakes, multiple event areas, and so many different places to explore. Everywhere you go feels calm and well taken care of, and it really lets you disconnect a bit while still having plenty to do. What made the biggest impact though was the people. Every single person we interacted with was just genuinely kind and welcoming. From the lodge, to the sporting center, to housekeeping, all the way up to leadership and CEO, everyone had the same energy. It never felt forced. It just felt like they actually cared that we were there and wanted us to have a good experience. They were always around if we had questions, always happy to help, and just easy to talk to. They gave us tours, helped with team activities, and even joined in on things like karaoke, which made everything feel a lot more relaxed and fun. And honestly, it was the little moments that stood out the most. Driving around the property and passing staff on golf carts who would always wave and smile, it just made the whole place feel warm and personal. By the end of the trip, it didn’t feel like we had just stayed somewhere nice. It felt like we had been taken care of by people who genuinely enjoy what they do. It’s a beautiful property, but the people are what really make it special. I would absolutely go back.
While the location of this resort is good there were quite a few issues. The walls were poorly painted in the both bathrooms. The bedroom door would not shut. The chairs in the living room were so wobbly they felt as if they would break if you sat on them. The bathtub looked like it had a sticky mat at one point which had been taken off and now looks very gross. The downstairs toilet, when flushed would not refill with water. While it was a selling point to be able to cook there the amenities provided did not allow you to. The microwave also did not work. It was a very nice view but all of the other issues lead to a not very great experience for the price. The clay shooting was amazing.
There were limited people working and the advertisement is incorrect on the website. Very vague and incorrect. We were suppose to do fishing, canoeing that never happened. There was hardly nobody there, the amenities were very limited. The fan was not working in one of the rooms. Reported it and no one ever came out to look at it or fix it. The utensils in the kitchen area were missing. The TV in the from room was the size of the TV's in the bedrooms. We were told incorrect information on bar, dinner,lunch, and breakfast availability. Two of the pools were not working out of the 3 that were advertised. The grounds were ok, the lake was beautiful but the porch had spiderweb, duck poop on the chair cushions. We asked for a bigger TV and were told no. There was no accommodations made either. To say the stay cation was not what we expected and we all were dissatisfied and disappointed 😞 spoke to the few people there and was told they would leave message with the supervisor. So far no call back! Will not be going back.
