This was such a good surprise. We were just passing by and decided to stop in for a quick bite while we were out in Portland. Both the BBQ Pork buns and the pork and vegetable pot stickers were great! Definitely give it a try for a quick bit or a full meal. The other dishes we saw coming out looked amazing!
Found this place due to it being open late. I definitely hit the jackpot. Never have had to wait in a line to get seated past 11pm for a restaurant but it just shows how great the food is. Definitely worth the wait. They turn tables and lines quick, along with processing a ton of to go online orders. Best soup dumplings I’ve ever had. I got the pork xiao long bao soup dumplings and wonton in chili sauce. Definitely a must. It was suggested by my server, Jason and he was exceptional. He was so kind and quick with everything and definitely made the experience there top notch. I didn’t order any entrees like the green beans, chow mein or orange chicken etc, but the others tables looked amazing and everything was shareable with another person. Everyone over ordered and had to get boxes. Definitely a must do if you are in Portland. Don’t mind my half eaten food because I was too hungry to take a picture when everything first came out.

A great spot for dumplings! Family revisited this restaurant for Chinese New Year after going in June of 2025 and thoroughly enjoying the experience then. On this visit, we ordered the chinese broccoli, chicken chow fun, homestyle tofu, and pork and leek dumplings. While the chinese broccoli had the most authentic flavor, the dumplings and the tofu were the stars of the show! The former had a great bouncy texture, and tasted as though hand made in house. The latter was flavorful, balanced, with a hint of spice -- but pairing with rice is essential!The noodles unfortunately fell on the blander side, and were a bit oily. For the price, maybe consider other options! Overall, the service is understanding and patient, the food is very good depending on what you order, and the atmosphere is 5/5. Would recommend!
I’m a huge DTF fan and wanted to try this place and wow I was truly left with my tummy so satisfied! This place truly was so delicious! The atmosphere was great service was excellent and the food so so good! We were not super hungry so we didn’t order too much but we ordered was more than enough to know that Xin Ding has got it! The taste was so so good! I wanna try everything because I know everything will be delicious. We got the Pork XLB and the shrimp chow mein and the garlic sweet and shower cucumber and my husband got the toki sidecar drink which he loved he got two! And wowowowowow so so so good! I can’t say it enough! Would love to keep coming back but just not enough time!
This place was decent overall. There was quite a bit of waiting, which made the experience a little less enjoyable, but the food itself was satisfying especially since we arrived pretty hungry. The standout dish was definitely the dan dan noodles, which were really flavorful and worth trying. While there are some areas that could be improved, it’s still a solid option if you’re in the mood for a good meal.
