Food was delicious! Service was also great. Prices are higher, however, the quality and taste you get is worth every dollar spent.
My husband and I got married on May 16, 2026 in Bellbrook, OH. We hired The Amber Rose for our catering and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. We were so incredibly pleased at the service, price, quality, and ease of the entire booking. Joe and Emily are top notch and it was honestly a main highlight of our day. We had a special cheese coney bar for cocktail hour and it was and absolute smash. Thank you for treating us like family and we cant wait to see you again at the restaurant or for our next catering need.
This place was totally amazing! I've been going to The Amber Rose since the 1980's and always loved it. My wife and I went there quite a few times when we lived in Dayton but once we moved to North Fairborn, it's been a bit since we've been back. We went for my wife's birthday by her special request and the dinner was great. We order drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert. Let's start with the food - we started with salads and the house made dressing was wonderful. I ordered the sausage stuffed mushroom covered in cheese and sauce - 100% I will be getting those again - perfectly cooked. My wife ordered the pierogi appetizer as her main course and it was more than enough and she also got a side of spaetzel. I ordered the Jagerschnitzel with the mushroom sauce - perfection! We ordered the two desserts they have - the chocolate pie and the red velvet cake. The chocolate pie had a crunchy cookie crust and was dense and oh, so smooth - I took more than half of it home the serving was so large. My wife is a Red Velvet cake fan and absolutely loved hers also taking about half of it home. They brewed a fresh pot of coffee for us which really made the dinner just that much better. The staff were arrentive and friendly and the atmosphere of the place really takes me back. I highly recommend you stop in and try their authentic homemade dishes. We are already making plans to go back.

Unfortunately, I come from New Jersey where even the worst meal I've had was better than this. It was only downhill when the complimentary salad clearly came out of a bag. I ordered the sauerbrauten and they definitely did not seem to skimp on the "sauer" because it was very acidic, so the overcooked steak was actually better without the sauce. The worst part of the meal for me personally was that the private party room was extremely hot, and since it had is own bathroom attached, the whole room smelled like urinal cake. Not the best cake to smell while eating tbh. However, none of this should reflect on the servers- they were excellent. My 90 year old grandfather enjoyed his meal so that was good at least!
I had my 75th birthday celebration at Amber Rose. There were 80 in attendance and everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere in the banquet room. The ladies that setup the room, buffet and drinks were awesome. Thank you so much for providing us such an awesome time.
