This district located just east of downtown Dayton is a beautiful remarkable area. Lovely houses.. clean manicured lawns and perfectly trimmed trees and shrubs.. along with gorgeous flowers beds.
Such a beautiful neighborhood. My family and I lived there for a year. We had a garage, thank goodness. Because parking in the street can be quite a challenge. But having Bomberger Park within walking distance was great for my toddler. And the streets were always peaceful enough for a nice walk.
This is the best place to live in the city. Safe, great houses with character. Tons of places in walking distance ...downtown view and less than 1 mile, Oregon half mile, second st market etc...but live a little quieter than the city and feels like a little town and friendly neighborhood tucked away. There is no better place for living in Dayton city in my opinion.

The St.Annes area has really become the place to be in Dayton. Most of the houses have now been taken care of, the neighborhood is lovely and now with many new businesses. Plus the fact you can walk downtown, Oregon and South Park is amazing. I am glad to see values coming up and the area is back strong. Love the festivals, tours and classic homes and location of this area.
I absolutely love & adore Victorian architecture. One of the best parts of St. Anne’s is the number of houses in that area, that are intact... A lot of them would need major work done to bring them back to life, but they are intact in the sense that they haven’t been converted to business buildings, or had massive add-ons attached to them like so many have. Like the North Riverdale area, has so many gorgeous homes in it but they have been butchered to turn into a business distract (back then anyway, it’s a super ghetto hood area now.) I def recommend visiting St Anne’s, and University row is a must-see too.
