We requested an estimate for a completely new room from Newman Roofing. From the start, this was a great experience. The estimator was timely and professional. Communication with the team regarding scheduling was easy and efficient. The company provided timely updates leading up to our scheduled date. The crew supervisor showed up on time and explained the process. His team was well organized and professional. They completed our whole roof in 1 day. The cleanup was impeccable. You can’t even tell they were here, other than the new roof. We are so impressed with the company and would highly recommend them!!
I am so very pleased with how my roof was installed and the outcome. It was a whole day job replacing my house, my three season room, and detached garage. They covered everything and took care not to step in places around my house that we're starting to grow. I did not find any screws.They left the area around my house. better than they found it. I chose black gutters and leaf guards. I was a little nervous about the color choice, but they we're confident that it would look great with the new paint on my house and they do. I would recommend Newman roofing to anyone.I have already recommended it to one of my friends. I would like to compliment Alex and Kevin and their team for a job well done. This was definitely money well spent.

We have had a wonderful experience with Newman Roofing from start to finish as we got bids for a full roof replacement installed early June 2026. Our estimator, Larry, took his time with us and had thoughtful answers for all of our questions. He explained their process and guarantee thoroughly without giving us “the hard sell.” When we decided to use Newman, Larry let me know how the process worked and which week the new roof would likely go on. The online tool for helping me select a shingle color by looking at other homes in the area was so helpful! Larry was very quick, friendly, and helpful in responding to my emails. The folks on the phone and texts for scheduling were great, too. Brady was our job supervisor on install day, he and the crew arrived right on time, and he kept me involved in the process whenever there were real time decisions to make. Everyone involved was also very safety conscious. Lots of protection of our personal property and landscaping and METICULOUS clean up. Brady talked to me afterward about how everything went and made sure my questions were answered. The roof looks great, and all is working well so far. Their 10 year guarantee is also a huge selling point. This process could not have been easier for us, and everyone was so kind and helpful. That’s what you hope for when going with a locally and family-owned company for a big job like this, and Newman certainly delivered.
I must give credit where credit is due - I am honestly never someone to leave a good review haha, but this one is completely warranted! My wife and I purchased a home in Powell earlier this year, and we knew going into it that the house needed a new roof and gutters. Since we were still getting familiar with the Columbus area, we did what any responsible homeowner should do and got multiple quotes. One day, my wife mentioned Newman Roofing after one of her coworkers recommended them. Her coworker said they were picky about contractors and felt Newman offered the best value for the money. Honestly, I think they undersold them. We have now used Newman for siding repair, roof repair, a full roof replacement, and gutter replacement, and overall, they have been excellent. Our first experience with Newman was for siding work after our electrical meter started pulling away from the side of the house. The siding had to be removed and reinstalled so the issue could be addressed properly. Mitch did a great job with the siding work and even replaced all of the sheathing and added tyvek behind the meter. He worked in with the electricians very well even in the freezing cold! There were a few minor touch-ups needed afterward, but Rich reached out and has been helping make sure everything is handled correctly. We also had roof issues shortly after moving in. The roof was roughly 25 years old, clearly damaged, and due for replacement soon. After a bad windstorm came through in March, Newman was able to come out and repair the roof within about a week. Even better, the cost of that repair was applied toward the full roof replacement when we later moved forward with the larger project. When it came time for the full roof replacement, Ian supervised the job and did an excellent job. The crew completed the roof in less than a day, which was honestly impressive. They cleaned up as much as can reasonably be expected during a full roof replacement and made sure the finished product looked professional. There were a few flashing areas that needed to be touched up afterward, but Ian and the crew addressed them right away. It was clear they cared about the quality of their work and wanted the job done correctly. The gutters were installed the following week, and Newman was able to fit us into the schedule quickly. Kevin, who supervised the gutter work, was awesome. He was actively working alongside his crew and took the time to address my concerns about problem areas around the house. He found better ways to handle drainage in certain spots, painted some fascia boards even though he did not have to, and truly went above and beyond. He even came back out after the gutter install to help with a few areas where water was splashing near the foundation where the downspouts met the below-grade drainage system. Overall, Newman really seems to care about the work they do. From my experience so far, they are not the kind of company that takes your money, does the job, and disappears. They stand behind their workmanship, communicate well, and follow up even after the installation is complete. If there is an issue, they do not make excuses or make the customer feel like they are wrong. They take accountability and work to make things right. They may be more expensive than some competitors, but based on the warranty, quality of work, communication, and willingness to stand behind the job, I would highly recommend Newman for roofing, gutters, and siding work. If anything changes in the future, I will update this review. But based on everything so far, Newman gets a 5/5 from me. Their attention to detail, customer care, communication, and dedication to quality have been unmatched compared to the other contractors I have worked with.
I can't say enough good things about our experience with Newman Roofing. From the initial call, I knew we made the right choice. Our estimator (Dakota) provided us with the information we needed and answered our questions. Our coordinator (Dan) kept up apprised throughout the process. Our install team (led by Francisco) has to be the best in the industry. Everyone was so professional and took such pride in their work. They went the extra mile to protect flower beds and areas around the house. I am a very happy customer and would definitely choose them again. 7 of the 9 crew members representing their great work in the photo.
