I recently visited Rad Air for tires and general maintenance. The staff was professional and the work was done in a reasonable time. Everything seems to be working well so far, and the team explained the service clearly. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I’m not completely sure about the pricing—it felt a little higher than expected. Overall, it was still a good experience and I would consider coming back.
I’ve had my car worked on a handful of times at this RadAir location. It’s very convenient because it’s in downtown Cleveland, a block from my work. I drop it off on the morning, and by the end of my shift it’s finished and I pick it up and go home! I’ve always been satisfied with their work, and the manager, Paul, is very nice, courteous and explains well what’s going on with the car. I took it in a few days ago for an oil change, and asked him to determine if I need new tires (someone at another garage said I would need them by now). But Paul said I could easily wait until the end of the year (6+ months), so saved me probably $1200 in tires that he could have easily told me I needed now! It’s nice to have a maintenance garage you can trust!

I originally sought a second opinion after being advised elsewhere that I might need approximately $2000 worth of brake work. From my first phone call, Paul listened carefully to my concerns and suspected the noise could simply be the ABS system. He still encouraged me to bring the care in and personally test drove the vehicle with me. After safely reproducing the sound, he explained that it was just the normal sound of the ABS engaging. I really appreciated that they took the time to thoroughly evaluate my concerns, even though there was ultimately nothing to repair. Their honesty, professionalism, and willingness to help left a great impression on me. While I can't comment on their repair work, I definitely came away feeling that this is a trustworthy shop and would gladly return in the future.
After being misdiagnosed by multiple shops and told I may need an expensive heater core replacement, I finally came across RadAir at the 1277 Hamilton location — and I’m glad I did. Paul Arlesic was honest, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. While other shops couldn’t even get me in for weeks, Paul took the time to properly assess my E350 and explained that these vans only blow A/C from the upper vents — something no one else mentioned. I dropped my van off around noon and had it back before the end of the day, and he didn’t even charge me for the diagnosis. That level of honesty and integrity is rare these days. No upselling, no scare tactics, no unnecessary repairs — just real experience and trustworthy service. Paul definitely earned my future business. This is what a 5-star mechanic looks like. 👍
Paul and the guys always take care of me, never pressures me to do more than needed at time. Been with them for over 8 years maybe even longer. Started off in Wickliffe and now the downtown Cleveland area. Alway drive off happy and my truck always feeling as good as the day I drove it home off the lot.
