This placed lived up to the hype! I spent way too many hours researching hotels in downtown Chicago and couldn't find anything at a reasonable price without a lot of negative and concerning reviews until I found Loews. (Caveat - "reasonable" in context of what you're going to pay in downtown Chicago) Anyway, we took a chance and they delivered a stunning hotel room & view with flawless customer service at every step. We had a lot of interaction with "Bright" who was extremely friendly and helped us navigate all variables around keeping our bags while we shopped on check out day, valet, etc. We were sad to leave, not something I can say about many hotels I've stayed at. Loews will now be our go-to hotel when visiting Chicago. Thank you! P.S. Another shout out to the customer service reservations line as I initially booked the hotel inadvertently for that day, versus the actual stay several days later. Booking that day would have put it inside the 24 hour cancelation window. I immediately called and they give me no problem canceling the reservation for no fee as two queens weren't available on the day I needed. Eventually, two queens became available on the website again (next day) and we stayed at Loewes after all. That would have never happened & I wouldn't be leaving such a positive review if she wasn't so understanding. Thank you again!
We were on vacation and they did not disappoint. Close proximity to a variety of Food choices and Navy Pier. Service was impeccable. Notably Bright, Sabrina and Taylor at the front desk and Johnny when you first arrive. Gwen in concierge, is amazing. Housekeeping kept are rooms fresh and comfortable. They were always pleasant to interact with.

I used as part of my chase edit credit. I would definitely come back due to the location and compared to a Vegas “5-star” hotel/casinos I actually would prefer this place. They have a Whole Foods across the street for healthy food and to keep food cost down if you don’t have meal credits - as a health conscious person this alone rates the hotel much higher in my mind. You can tell management keeps high standards here. Pros: Great service by staff. Excellent location - walk everywhere downtown easily either in food or public transportation. Good gym. Cons (minor): I was surprised I couldn’t order a ~12oz ribeye steak anywhere at the restaurant/bar area, outside of room service. Food options they had available at restaurants felt like lower quality and/or meant to be served quickly in the bar area for example. It’s just odd to me a hotel of this quality doesn’t offer a high end restaurant/bar like that - perhaps due to so much of the space being hidden for weddings. Limited low carb alternatives from bread to sides at the restaurants on sides. The welcome bag would have been better with healthy options instead of junk food - big trend these days - low carb/sugar and high protein alternatives, especially with GLP-1’s becoming so popular.
Loews Chicago Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly and professional service. Check-in was quick, and the entire process was smooth. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The bed was very comfortable, and everything in the room was well maintained. I also appreciated how quiet the hotel was, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is excellent, with many of Chicago’s main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas within walking distance. It made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Overall, I had a fantastic stay. Great customer service, beautiful accommodations, and an excellent location. I would definitely stay at Loews Chicago Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago.
Had an amazing time at this hotel! Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. The check in was seamless along with checkout. The location is perfect and we never had issues getting taxis. The rooms were extremely clean except for the bath towels which did unfortunately have some hairs in them that weren’t ours. Otherwise, the stay at this hotel was amazing! Would definitely stay here again!
