Made a trip to check out the Ryman Auditorium, and it was absolutely worth it. The history, atmosphere, and legendary reputation are evident the moment you walk through the doors. The acoustics are incredible, and the views are excellent from most seats in the house. You can really appreciate why so many iconic performers have graced this stage over the years. One thing to know—the bench seating is part of the historic charm, but it does mean you might get a little more familiar with your neighbors than you planned! 😆 Overall, a must-visit Nashville landmark and a fantastic venue to experience live music.
I took a recommendation from my hotel receptionist to visit, and I couldn't be happier that I did! The introductory video gave such a great overview of the rich history and how this iconic location came to be. The entire property is exceptionally well restored, and getting a free photo included with admission was such a nice bonus touch. If you've never been, it is well worth checking out!

We finally made it to the Ryman on our latest Nashville trip, and pairing the self‑guided tour with our Lady A Christmas concert that night was the best decision. The tour was calm, easy to follow, and beautifully presented. The opening film set the tone, and the history throughout was incredible. My teen daughter loved spotting outfits from her favourite artists (Dolly, Kelsea, Taylor) and was surprisingly invested the whole way through. A highlight was watching the sound crew set up for the concert later that evening — an unexpected behind‑the‑scenes moment that made the visit feel extra special. We spent about an hour exploring, and the onstage photo was a great keepsake. Coming back that night for the Lady A show wrapped the whole experience up perfectly. Highly recommend doing the tour on the same day as a concert. It made the visit unforgettable.
I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected! It was interesting without being overwhelming like the Country Music Hall of Fame. You start in a very cold room learning about the history of the auditorium before going on your self paced tour. I was surprised to see stuff from Jim Henson & Harry Houdini in one of the rooms. I liked the photo circle by the stairs that you could take pics and email to yourself. You get to go up the stairs to the stage and have your picture taken (included in the price of the ticket). Most places charge an extra $30+ for pictures, and they allowed us to do a group pic and an individual one. The auditorium seemed intimate where every seat was perfect. They have a large gift shop as well.

Compressing "The Tales...." & cuts from "Pyramid", "I Robot", "Friendly Card" & "Ammonia Ave", AP put on a super duper musical montage. May God bless him and may he continue as long as he's able.*
