As a loyal Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member, I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties over the years, and I have to say the experience at the Indianapolis Marriott North truly stood out because of the exceptional hospitality from Dionca at the Front Desk. She was incredibly helpful, genuinely happy, and an absolute joy to interact with from the moment I arrived. What impressed me even more was that she was simultaneously training a new employee, and it was obvious he is in very good hands. She was extremely thorough, patient, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about Marriott procedures and policies. It’s rare to encounter someone who can balance efficiency, warmth, and leadership so naturally. Deonca created such a welcoming atmosphere and made this stay memorable. Marriott is fortunate to have team members like her representing the brand. Rooms are amazing too, get the one with the lake view. Property is well taken care of, I had a very pleasant stay and will be returning when I visit Indianapolis again.
Nice place - common areas are spacious and well decorated. Rooms are a little bare. No drawers to put away any clothes (I wanted to be able to organize my clothes to live for a week) and no microwave. Asked for a water-view room but didn’t get it. Highway is noisy at night! No free breakfast… for $250/night I’ve stayed at much more inclusive and accommodating locations. TV has horrible reception - obviously a satellite signal - the picture is all pixelated and going in/out. Also, they advertise Netflix and YouTube availability via the tv but neither would work. Kept saying the tv could not connect to the internet.

Stayed here for a business conference. The hotel was clean, and the staff was courteous and friendly throughout my stay. My room (double beds, parking lot view) was clean and quiet. The bathroom was spacious with a large walk-in shower (no tub), and the water pressure and temperature were excellent. Room lighting was a bit lacking—I prefer a brighter space, and there weren’t many lamps. The bedside lighting also had an amber tone, which wasn’t my favorite. The main issue I ran into was with the outlets—several were very loose, and my chargers wouldn’t stay in place without propping them up. Definitely something that needs attention. The location is great, with plenty of shopping and dining nearby. I didn’t use the hotel restaurant, pool, or fitness center, but they appeared clean and well maintained. It was on the pricier side (over $500 for two nights), likely due to multiple conferences being held at the time. Overall, a solid option for a short business stay with a few minor inconveniences.
We’re here for a baseball tournament, and my son’s first game was at 8:00 a.m. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to bed until after 1:00 a.m. because so many kids on our hotel floor were running the halls completely unsupervised while the parents were downstairs partying. Security shrugged his shoulders and said I’m sorry mam this happens every weekend… Quiet hours were supposed to begin at 9:00 p.m., but the noise continued for hours. It wasn’t until hotel management called the police that things finally settled down around 2:00 a.m. It’s frustrating because these tournaments are for the kids, and they need rest to be ready to play. A little consideration from everyone goes a long way.
just for the price compared to some other cost efficient hotels isn’t worth it, they claim modern but the internet isn’t free, and when you get it, still trash. literally can’t screen cast on the old out of date crap. has netflix option you have to have an account (i had one) took three hours to load, not exaggerating…. once it loaded it took the buttons on the remote ten to twenty seconds to complete the action you request, press a button wait and see what the remote gets you. the live tv wasn’t any better, 40 channels and half of them are news. walls are super thin so just hope the room next to you is empty, you can hear them walk move shower flush, anything. the handicap showers definitely flood the entire bathroom. pull the pull out mattress out of the sofa giant urine stain no sheets or anything just raw dog urine spot. it’s just moronic to not have microwaves in the room either, that is listed and i wasn’t expecting one but it’s so inconvenient. and the breakfast is NOT FREE $60 for two people and they don’t even refill your coffee, you serve yourself. what a joke. seems like more of place to stay when you’re part of a large group for a convention or whatever
