Portland Roofing was a great company to work with. My original roof had 3 layers of different materials which was very heavy on the house which was built in 1906. New Barge Boards needed with repair around the chimney along with proper venting and trim boards for a more finished look. I highly recommend Portland Roofing as they cleaned up everyday and good people to work with.

The job was completed on time and there were no surprises about some slight additional work I needed done. I would strongly consider contacting Portland Roofing Company if you are planning a roofing project.
I have had Portland Roofing complete 4 roofs on different properties, and they’ve been consistently excellent. Also had them replace a section of gutter. They were able to get the job done fast, efficient, and they have very fair pricing. They always leave the site spotless—no debris left behind. I’ve been recommending them for several years and will continue to do so! If you need a roof fixed, replaced, or gutter work done, no need to call anyone else.

Portland Roofing has been our only roofing company since I bought the house in 200, for good reason. I always get more than one bid as I am on a fixed income. Every time Portland Roofing beat the competitor's price. As I am a woman owned and founded entrepreneur, I like to support others who are the same or BIPOC led. Portland Roofing is led by both. Another good reason that I recommend Portland Roofing to my friends is their exceptional work, that they stand by the quality of their work. If I have questions or there is an issue. This happened once and though it was beyond warranty, they fixed the minor issue for free. Their immediate updates and personal contact are also stellar!
Communication with office staff was very rushed throughout the project. We understand that the weather and scheduling are priorities for roof repairs but the changes to our original estimate came fast and furious throughout. Original estimate approx 15k - final bill approx 24k.(!) We are not saying the extra work wasn't necessary, we just would have appreciated a more accurate estimate. Not super confident with the gutter install though they promise to take care of any issues that may come up. Fine print says they do not inspect attic space before writing estimates, maybe that would have given them more information regarding the amount of boards needed. We were given a small discount of a few hundred dollars and a couple of no charge for boards.
