Craig was very knowledgeable and professional. He advised us on what needed to be fixed and addressed our concerns about the problem we were having. In the process of fixing our faulty outlets and checking our breaker box, he found another problem and was able to fix that as well. We really appreciated his knowledge and his advice. The work was done in a timely manner and he explained everything to us. This is the first time we’ve used Jahn Electric and we’ll definitely use them going forward. Highly recommend.
The pair of techs that came out were courteous and accommodating with their ETA. Never once did the job feel rushed or uncertain. They were great trouble shooting the original issue and correcting it. They discussed with me everything needed to bring the house up to code and even split the proposals into separate invoices to make it easier to understand each quote. The original construction had backstabbed the outlets and they were making poor connection causing nearly the entire basement to loose power. 2 GFCI outlets in the garage later, and the basement power is restored. Really cannot say how much I appreciate the diagnostic and solution all from one visit. Looking forward to fixing the other outlets and bringing the rest of the house up to code soon.

It was easy to make the appointment, I think they have a 24 hour answering service. After the appointment was made, they sent a reminder text the day before. The day off they called me about 20 minutes before arriving. Thomas and Tom did the service today and they did a great job! They arrived on time, did an inspection and talked me through what needed to be done and then completed the work very quickly. Overall, very happy and I will call Jahn again the next time I need something.
I was purchasing a house and needed an estimate for some work that needed done. They told me over the phone it would be $79 to get the estimate and if I use them that would be taken off the total bill. I was disappointed that when they came out they charged me just over $300 just for the estimate no repairs or anything and was told the $79 was just to get them there. I had no other choice but to use them because of the time crunch I was in and felt taken advantage of. Not sure if I will use them in the future. The technician was knowledgeable, but not being upfront about pricing is huge as a company.
Excellent service, fair and transparent pricing and great communication. Helped us out of a major jam when the utility pole that supplies power to our home caught fire and damaged our meter box and breaker panel. We have an adult son w/ a developmental disability and Jahn electric was very compassionate and understood our need to have power restored quickly!
