The experience from start to finish was wonderful. The technician, Craig, was very friendly, thorough, patient and polite. He worked quickly and explained everything to me throughout the process. The price is super competitive too. When I was calling around for quotes I wanted someone to just do an inspection first because I wasn’t sure if my outlet issue was from the outlet itself or a power strip I was using. Other companies quoted me $200-$300 just to LOOK at the outlet, that didn’t include repairing it if that service needed done. Jahn told me they would charge $59 for the service call/safety inspection. If a repair was needed they would take the service fee off and charge for repair only. They did just that and I ended up paying less for a connection issue and GFCI outlet install than I would have paid competitors just to inspect. I will definitely be using them again and recommend them!
Everything was great! Craig and his partner were on time, cordial and professional. They checked everything, came and got me to show me their findings and what the next steps would be to get things back to normal. I will definitely call them again for any future electrical needs. Will definitely refer to others.

Thank you for sending Craig to assess my electrical problem. Brandy worked me in the schedule on short notice which I greatly appreciate. She explained cost proceedure and my options before setting the appointment. Craig arrived promptly at the appointed time. He was polite personable, respectful, knowledgeable nd an excellent communicator, explaining every step of the diagnostic process. He pointed out problem areas and provided in writing cost to repair. I oped for all listed repairs to be done. Craig , a true professional left the areeas of repair clean and tidy. Pricing was fair for services performed. Jahn Electric has a new , happy, satisfied customer.
This company is about as unethical as they come. They sent a tech named Thomas out to my house a couple weeks ago. Wont refer to him as an electrician because it was blatantly obvious he didnt know what he was doing, aside from trying to rob me of $5K for unnecessary services like replacing my entire outdoor breaker panel because he wasnt sure how to diagnose the electrical problem. Once he knew I wasnt dumb enough to fall for his used car salesman pitch, he just left, not even bothering to button up the outdoor breaker panel he’d opened up by removing the lid and protective inner cover to get to the wiring behind it. I was fortunate to have noticed this myself a couple days later, just before it rained, and then closed it up properly. If the exposed breakers & wiring had got rained on, a variety of additional damage could have resulted. And that’s probably what he was hoping for… me calling him back in a panic saying other things connected to that panel were failing now, potentially leading me to believe the breaker panel did in fact need replacing. Anyway, instead I called a more reputable company, Kidwell Electric, and had them come out a week later. Their guy did some thorough troubleshooting diagnostic work and pinpointed the exact problem within a half hour of arrival and had it repaired with an hour, costing me only a small fraction ($300) of what Jahn was attempting to extort from me. I would highly advise never calling Jahn for any kind of electrical work you’re needing. Company’s small $69 diagnostic service charge is cheap for a reason… and that reason is they want to get to your house to try ripping you off! Their techs are unprofessional & unscrupulous salesmen. Dont fall for their bait & switch scheme. Steer clear of Jahn at all costs!
Had partial power outage at home. They were able to send someone quickly. Craig promptly diagnosed the problem and called for right help. He was very pleasant and professional. Will definitely use for any future needs and will highly recommend.
