I took my car in for a knock sensor code. On a 2000 Toyota solara 3.0 there's a known issue with the knock sensors and the wiring harness. Instead of fixing the issue I took it in for they found a different issue they fixed and said the car was good to go. Now I have my vehicle in another shop fixing what art of maintenance should have fixed the first time I brought it there. Then when I told them to check engine light came back on oh well when can you bring it back in. You already got paid to fix the problem you didn't fix why would I bring it back. Never ever ever take your vehicle here for anything serious. On top of that I was told there would be no diagnostic charge if I got it fixed and yet I got charged to diagnostic fee. I paid $756 to fix a problem that didn't need to be fixed because they couldn't figure out the real problem. The whole problem here is when I scan the car with my scanner there was a knock sensor code that's what it was taken to the shop for and that is what should have been addressed. I asked before I ever took the car in is there a diagnostic fee if I have the car fixed I was told no. I was charged a diagnostic fee anyway. I took the car to another shop and got the two knock sensors replaced they had to replace the valve cover gaskets because the knock sensors were buried in oil and the wiring harness. The technicians here were too lazy to investigate it I do not believe there was a problem with the thermostat. Been wanting me to bring the car back so they could charge me more money I took it to another shop and the knock sensors needed replaced. It's 1.1 hours to do a thermostat on my car and yet they charged me over $800 but then they gave me a discount but still they should have fixed what it was brought in for. Any reputable technician would know on a 2000 Toyota solara that if you clear the codes you start the car you turn it off and you fire it right back up it'll show the code. The first time you turn the key on it sets the code but it doesn't turn on the check engine light the second time it does. I picked my car up from them drove it to Costco to get gas turned the car off and when I started it back up the check engine light came on. I took my car to MasterTech in Vancouver Washington. They scanned it diagnosed at for free and it was to knock sensors. So I had them replace them and the wiring harness is what art of maintenance should have done. But no they told me it aren't the maintenance fix the thermostat and the car will be fixed. They don't even deserve a one-star review. There should be half a star or a quarter star

I woke up with a dead battery. I called AAA. They were able to get me started. The technician let me know that the battery was completely drained and I would need to have it completely charged. He recommended Art of maintenance a AAA certified service dealer. I drove straight there wasn’t disappointed. I was welcomed by Ciara at the front desk. They took me in right away checked everything out. They were able to fully charge my battery and I was on my way In less than an hour! All at no charge. Friendly efficient service. Extremely clean waiting area. I will definitely be back for Maintenance in the future.
The entrance and lounge was absolutely welcoming, clean and pleasant. Very impressive. Floors were clean. Overall ambiance provided good vibes and assurance. Video games too. 1/4 size stand up models. Staff and Owner was pleasant and ready to provide necessary communications. Already scheduled my other vehicle for service.
Called them after searching for nearby open shops on a Saturday and they confirmed they could get me in immediately for a used car inspection. Price was up front and clearly was 1 hour of shop time. Worked with me to send the inspection report to multiple parties and the mechanic even took the time to answer some questions I had in the middle of the inspection. Upfront, honest, polite, and printed me off quotes of issues they found to negotiate with at the dealership. They have a really good waiting lounge with words searches on the wall and arcade games for kids to play 10/10.
A member of my family had a transmission rebuild there about two months ago. We got bids and theirs was a reasonable fair market value price so we had it done. I was impressed with the workmanship and professionalism as well as the price so when my car needed work II took it there. After a diagnostic they quoted me over the phone $3,800 dollars to replace the tailpipe from the motor all the way back including the catalytic converter and muffler. I thought that was rather excessive so I got a quote from Daryl's discount muffler on 82nd for $980 dollars. I suspect that the transmission work beeings as how they are affiliated with a national chain who likely holds their pricing to fair market value was the reason the family member who had transmission work done was reasonably priced. That said their business model seems to be somewhat akin to price gouging. I am a reasonable man but $2,000 more is well, unreasonable to put it mildly. I feel compelled to write this review to warn fellow consumers. People go where they're invited and return where they're well treated. Additionally I have found usury has become commonplace. Let your conscience be your guide.
