My husband and I have decided to leave this practice after a disappointing experience. We’ve been patients since 2022, and until now I had never missed or been late to an appointment. The one time I had to cancel my annual check-up was due to a family emergency. I called twice and left a voicemail approximately 22 hours in advance, just shy of the practice’s 24-hour cancellation policy. Despite the circumstances and my history as a reliable patient, I was charged a $50 late cancellation fee. I respectfully asked if it could be reconsidered, but the request was denied without any consideration of the situation or my record with the practice. It was also consistently difficult to reach the front desk to discuss the issue. While the doctor checked in with me a couple of months later, I had already begun feeling that the overall patient experience lacked empathy. Additionally, I was routinely kept waiting more than 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time once I was in the exam room, which became a recurring frustration. We understand that policies exist for a reason, but compassion and consistency matter too. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling undervalued as long-term patients, and it’s ultimately why we’ve chosen to seek care elsewhere. If you’re looking for a practice that prioritizes patient care in every sense, I’d recommend exploring other options.
I had three appointments here. The service was ok for the first two appointments. Doctor Zimmerman did a decent job. It was mid service overall. The clinic cancelled last minute on me for one of my early appointments which was ok at the time. Nothing particularly special. On my third visit, I had to cancel my first ever appointment hours ahead of time due to a last minute emergency. I was initially sent a letter letting me know I cancelled and that no fees would incur. I then received a no show or cancellation fee even though it was my first time cancelling for a fair reason and I initially received a letter letting me know they waived it. I called the office and spoke to Dr Zimmermans nurse assistant, she was rude when I told her I wanted to speak with the office manager. I finally got in touch with Ayisha the office manager after 2-3 days to request the fee to be waived. She mentioned she would submit a request to the provider(I didn't verify if this was actually done or not). She called back and let me know they couldn't waive the fee. I will no longer be going to this place because of this unfair outdated policy fee even I gave sufficient notice and don't have a chronic cancelling or no show history. It is unfair for doctors to cancel without any reason and for a patient to be ok with it. It is unethical for a doctor to charge a late or cancellation fee even though there was sufficient notice given during a patient emergency and no history of chronic cancellations or late status.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Michael D. Williams at Central Ohio Primary Care, and I am thoroughly impressed with the level of care I received. Dr. Williams was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. He made me feel comfortable and truly listened to my concerns. The staff was also friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Dr. Williams to anyone in need of a caring and professional physician. Thank you Dr. Williams!!
Tricare told me that they assigned our family PCPs from their clinic so I called them Monday to set up an appointment for Friday morning and created my myChart account with my complete information. My appointment was confirmed by Wednesday morning. Thursday morning they call me to confirm my insurance information. A few hours later they tell me that the PCP is not accepting new patients. I am in urgent need of medication which is why I set up the appointment as early as possible. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior.
I have been a patient with Family Medicine North for many years and have been very pleased with my experience with them. The office staff are pleasant, efficient and very helpful at all times. My primary care provider is Dr. Michelle Zimmerman. She is attentive, patient, quick to explain her treatment options while being open to allaying any concerns I may have. She really listens and I never feel rushed through my appointments. I have a lot of confidence in the care and advice she offers. She is a great combination of professionalism offered with a pleasant and welcoming demeanor. I feel fortunate to have her as my primary care physician.
