This was hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was so nice and cozy. It truly felt like a home away from home. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need to relax. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and high quality stay.
This was one of the worst hotel check-ins I’ve experienced. As I’m writing this review I’m still not even checked in. I’ve waited over an hour and an half and still wasn’t checked in. The hotel was sold out the day before and again today, yet management had only one front desk employee trying to handle every guest. It took nearly 30 minutes just to check in the two people ahead of me. When it was finally my turn, I was told my room wasn’t ready. Thirty minutes later, still in the lobby while the line how now grown to six more guests. No clear directions on parking either. Had to return to the parking garage twice just to get my license plate, and then put the parking tag on. Should probably communicate this first. If you know you’re operating at full occupancy, having a single front desk clerk is unacceptable. Guests should not have to spend over an hour and a half waiting just to receive a room key. To make matters worse, I called ahead to request an early cheek-in and was simply told they don’t offer it. That’s understandable, but failing to have rooms ready well after normal arrival times is not when you already know before hand you are operating at full capacity is just unacceptable. I travel to Houston for work every month and stay in hotels regularly. Based on this experience, I will never stay at this property again. There are far better-managed hotels in the area that actually value their guests’ time.

I recently traveled to this establishment from Ohio for my family reunion. The building is beautiful as well as the rooms and in a great… however; the service was absolutely terrible. Housekeeping didn’t come to our room one time during our entire stay. This also happened to some of our relatives as well. Staff were also rude to my aunt who was the host. I will say the front desk staff were helpful, but they were the only ones. I also noticed how staff would take plates with food while people were still eating and overall had poor customer service. I had an amazing time with my family, but overall I believe staff were tired and just wanted us gone. I would not stay here again.
Thank you so much to Holiday Inn Express by Galleria team. We’ve now been traveling for 3 weeks in USA from NY, LA and by far this place was the best hotel experience we’ve had on our trip. The location is great, beds are comfortable and it has the best in hotel supermarket for all your needs. The staff are incredibly welcoming, kind, caring. They have relentlessly answered all our questions. We want to thank some team members specially; - Brittany S. She has by far been the nicest person with the biggest heart and warmth we’ve run into. - Nadia M. Kind and has helped out wonderfully always with a big smile. - Dazhanae K girl you saved our laundry! - Misty R and Samantha C for supporting us in the night shifts. To the manager of the property: You have a wonderful team and these ladies absolutely deserve raises and promotions. If we come back to Houston all the way from the Netherlands it’s because of these people. Would not pick another location! lol, as I was writing I was like let me check how many stars this hotel has, it’s 3. Our experience 5/5 stars ⭐️
I am a Silver Elite Member and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Houston on 13 June 2026 for the World Cup. We traveled from Florida and our check-in experience with Brittany was a disaster. First, she told me that I had not been billed for my room (when I had already pre-paid). When she wanted to argue with me, I presented paper documentation showing the charges for the rooms to my account. Then, she gave me the incorrect parking tag for my vehicle. When my wife took the incorrect tag out to the car & returned, Brittany informed us that the initial tag "was not filled out properly." After this, she billed me twice for incidentals. When I informed her that I had already processed the payment, she wanted to argue with me about if the payment processed effectively even though I previously signed and received a "payment approved" notification. Customer Service at this location is grossly lacking. It is also not communicated in advance that parking here costs $28 per night in addition to the room costs. The parking fee is a complete rip off. The manager on duty was Boris Manriquez, but he was no where to be found.
