Had cv axle replaced on my 2004 Silverado 2500HD, Harold’s Auto was able to get me in on short notice on a Sunday, Highly recommend using his services. He made sure I was well taken care of while waiting, answered all my questions and even helped diagnose other issues along the way. Very knowledgeable. Good conversationalist as well! I will be using his services again in the future👍🏼
I’d like to say if you scroll Harold’s reviews you can see that I have wrote wonderful reviews prior to this. However this time Harold was inspecting a car that i wanted to buy. The inspection took about an hour and after further discussion he went back to go check something for me just to make sure i was completely satisfied. Not only did he do the inspection, he provided full print outs of his concerns and how quickly those concerns needed attention. Any diagnostics done at his shop will be added to the fixes that need to be made. He went through the inspection report with me thoroughly and explained to me what everything meant. He is an honest man that has been helping me with car related issues for over a year now. He is also a mobile mechanic as well and has met me to address battery issue,etc. i would recommend Harold to anyone who reads this review as he does a thorough and amazing job.

Negligence. Broke something during overpriced engine diagnostic, will update soon what he broke. New engine light on now. Must pursue insurance claim, small claims court if need be. Harold is unprofessional, irresponsible, always tardy, never open in the morning sleeps very late into the day, takes on too many jobs that he can't finish in time. Will tell you he'll have it ready in 24 hrs, but wont give the car back for 4 days, then he'll lie about your agreement just so he thinks he's right. Get ready to miss work if you need it for work. He charges a high price (more than most) but works in a run-down ghetto of a shop. Doesn't have professional machinery. Terrible at communication and never prompt or considerate of your schedule. Also, the cab of your car will come back stinking of cigarette stench.
Great service and saved us time and money! We didn’t think we’d find someone open for repairs on a Sunday, but I’m really glad we called them. They called right back with a quote, arranged a tow, and had us back on the road again within a few hours of the original call. We were on an interstate drive, so this saved us not only on the repairs, which were less than the price I was previously charged for a less preeminent repair, but also saved us from needing to prolong our hotel stay and uhaul rental. So thankful we found them!
Bad Service! I called beginning of the week to make an appointment for early Saturday bc hours of operation are 12-4pm. I come in @12pm Saturday to find the door locked. I call the business and the owner tells me he won’t be able to operate half of the repair I’m asking for. When I ask if he can at least do spark plugs install (which I had mentioned when making appointment), he said he “didn’t know if he wanted to come in and do a $86 service”. Not sure why he agreed to a confirmed appointment for @12pm on Saturday when he’s “open” and wasn’t planning to being at his business. Honestly waisted my time.
