Bold Roofing - DFW's Best Roofing Contractor

I give Bold Roofing five stars because they just replaced my roof and did excellent job. From the moment I called Robert Stevens, who was recommended by my brother, I could tell I was in good hands. He’s very professional and straightforward guy who told me upfront what I’m looking at without any games. His communication was prompt and everything was organized according to the plan. He also helped me save a lot of money, which makes me even happier.

We used Bold Roofing after hail damage to our home. When we initially spoke with our contractor, Gabe Gonzales, we were told all repairs would be completed within two weeks. In reality, it took over two months just to get a window replaced. Throughout that time, we repeatedly reached out to Gabe for a simple timeline update (about once a week). Our calls and messages were consistently ignored. The only way we were able to get a response was by contacting the home office directly. When we finally did get through to Gabe, he was extremely unprofessional — he chewed me out over the phone, and then hung up on me. All we ever asked for was basic communication: a realistic timeline, and updates if delays occurred. Instead, we were left in the dark and then treated poorly when we tried to get answers. To be fair, the crew who completed the roof and fence work did a good job, and we have no complaints about the quality of their workmanship. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and unprofessional behavior from the contractor completely overshadowed that. Based on our experience and after reading similar reviews, I would not recommend working with Gabe Gonzales. Communication and professionalism matter, and this experience fell far short of expectations.
