I made a reservation through Expedia and called the property to confirm it. Dave, who it turns out is one of the owners, told me to cancel it and that he would give me a better rate which I did and he did. I called on 4/13/26 to reconfirm. Dave told me that the reservation had been canceled by Expedia which I knew. I asked about the reservation that he made for me and he got defensive and called me rude and canceled the reservation and then hung up. He did wish me luck in finding another reservation which I did in about 10 minutes. My point is that he is in the people business and was extremely rude with me. I was a returning customer which he has now lost forever and he lost a two night booking.

I travel for work and I loved the fact they had food in the morning I'll be back this way in a couple of months. Will see then what goes on

Ridiculous. This place is not managed professionally. I was displeased by several things, and I can't understand why this place gets good stars. Firstly, a front office should be OPEN, not closed with the doors locked. Then you just have to chill-out and waste time. Yeah, I got there during the day and it was totally locked. Once someone finally came to work, the office was absolutely filthy. I was shocked. No excuse for that. Then, they were to serve breakfast, but NO breakfast was provided. Ziltch. The place was totally locked. I would never go back to this place again.
We've stayed here numerous times and we've never been disappointed! Clean, comfortable room; easy check-in and staff are friendly and welcoming. Location a bit off the main drag but close to the main roads and interstates for getting around quite easily.
This inn is such a cute, out of the norm place for Mason. It is very well maintained and the whole facility is really clean. Our room was well stocked and had a cozy little fireplace in the corner and a view of the garden. The owner is such a sweet person and we had a wonderful conversation in the lobby. 10/10 will be staying here again in the summer.
