Very scenic, well maintained and supported. Ducks and geese all around, and very nice landscaping and flowers. Fountains and bridges add to the appeal, and there is a very nice and respectful monument memorializing the USS Indianapolis warship, it's famous missions in WW2, and of the free will lost their lives. Also lots of video security in the area, making a person feel monitored (but also very safe).
Love coming to this place early morning. It’s such a different experience when it’s not as crowded. During the busy times it’s nice seeing all the different people and activities taking place from running, socializing, gondola rides, pedal rides and music or PokemonGo events. It has a space for everyone from a playground for children to nice rest areas for those looking to relax. The fish, ducks and geese make this environment even more entertaining as you never know when you’ll run into them. There are bikes to rent, and sculptures, murals and monuments all over the space you can admire and learn from.

We had a great time at the Indianapolis Canal Walk riding the swan boat 🦢✨ The beautiful water views, peaceful atmosphere, and downtown scenery made it such a fun and relaxing experience. Definitely one of the best ways to enjoy the canal and create wonderful memories in Indianapolis!
Definitely a nice place to take a stroll. Lots of beautiful artwork along the path. A great place to take kids as there were quite of bit of animals throughout the walk. You can easily spend a couple hours walking f you take the time to admire all the sculptures and murals.
