Beautiful park with lots of small trails. Perfect for walking with friends or your dog. Once you get to the beach area, it’s magical on a sunny day. Restrooms are scattered across the park and are in good condition though toilet paper may run out by the end of a busy day. Lots of wonderful picnic areas with a view it by a pond
A beautiful park and a great place to spend a sunny day! So nice to be in nature so close to the city. We attempted the main loop with a stroller which did fairly well until the Bird Nest area and then we went back on the paved path. So not sure if a stroller could do the whole thing but I won’t be attempting again. It wasn’t terrible but a hiking carrier would’ve been easier.
Great place for a beach outing, especially at low tide, we find pretty big crabs buried in the sand hiding from seagulls. There also is a lot of great driftwood to try to build with, and bathrooms within a short walk. Important to know that the close parking is for ADA permits mainly but you can drop people and stuff off then go back and park to walk back to the beach. The walk is almost a hike according to my kids, a few sets of wooden steps and took us about 30-40 mins with an 8 year old with a good attitude.

This park is a gem of Seattle! It’s big enough to feel you’re on a hike in the wilderness, paths are well maintained and you can find trails for all levels. The highlight is the beach and the Lighthouse.
Lots of woods & an area to run your dogs with no cars. Really nice place. Native American museum, a beach & a lighthouse.
