I have had this on my bucket list for 20 years, so I wasn't surprised when I sobbed as I arrived on the grounds of the library. It was everything I had imagined and more. As I watched the many videos of President Carter, I was filled with a warm and peaceful feeling and hope for what can once again be for this country. The grounds are beautifully maintained, as is the library itself. Don't forget to visit the rose garden adjacent to the building on your way out. I do wish there had been a bit more offerings in the gift shop. The staff were informative, kind, and friendly, which I appreciated very much.
What a wonderful place to visit. I bought tickets in advance on the website and are great value for money. An informative and interesting place - as someone visiting from the UK it was a fascinating insight into President Carter’s life and career. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and very serene. I spent about an hour inside the museum itself; it wasn’t crowded and overall, I would highly recommend visiting.

I knew absolutely nothing about President Carter (not American), but left with so much respect for him. A beautiful building, well maintained grounds and a really interesting museum. Well paced with lots of cool items from his life, it was well worth the visit.
I'll admit up front that I'm a big Jimmy and Roselynn Carter fan. This museum highlighted their many, many accomplishments and it had an Oval Office replica. The grounds are beautiful. There's even a pond that's not full of alge and deteriorating liner. It was only $10 @ the senior rate (yes, I'm old).
Why do they charge an admission fee when they have an endowment??? Carter was responsible for 18% interest rates and a gas crisis and he still wants us to pay more??? The grounds are nice and staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, but everything in there belongs to the tax payers and should be free
