We recently had our roof replaced by Apolinar Roofing (“Shark” and his team), and they exceeded every expectation we had. What immediately stands out is Shark’s pride in his work - “your roof is my roof,” he told me. In the middle of winter — when several well-known roofing companies wouldn’t even get on the roof to inspect it — Shark personally climbed up, carefully evaluated everything, and took the time to explain approximately 200 photos that he had taken while inspecting it. It was not a one-size-fits-all approach, but what we actually needed and specific to our home. He never tried to upsell us on unnecessary wood replacement or new gutters - but did recommend horizontal shingle vents that other roofers didn’t recommend and took his time to explain why. Already, we have noticed a difference in ventilation in increasingly warmer temps. He walked us through why he recommended replacing our skylights, as well. Our roof is fairly large (nearly 40 squares) and the cleanup afterward was unbelievable as well. We found only one stray nail/screw after completion — which is remarkable considering the scope of the project. Another thing that separates Shark from others is his transparency and pride in his work. While the crew is working (very diligently - with no breaks), Shark himself is up on the roof, working and also documenting every phase with drones and photos so you can clearly see the quality of the workmanship. He communicates in real time if anything unexpected comes up. After installation, he personally came back to address a couple follow-up questions - neither of which involved any problems with his work. His work is fantastic. Exceptional craftsmanship, honesty, communication, cleanup, and customer care from start to finish. I highly recommend Shark and his team to anyone looking for a roofing company they can genuinely trust.

Shark and his team are fantastic. Extremely thorough and detail oriented starting with the estimate. Shark got on the roof to inspect it and take pictures. He noticed and addressed things that at least 3 other roofers missed. They document the entire process. The guys even noticed that there was a bathroom vent venting into the attic crawlspace and fixed it. I had the house roof and garage roof replaced, plus new gutters installed. The guys made sure to protect the neighbors cars and cleaned up any debris around the yard. It looks amazing and the price was very fair, especially for the scope of work. Everyone I talked to was also very kind. Really just a great experience from start to finish. I wish more contractors were like Apolinar.
This is simple advice. If you need a new roof, hire Apolinar Roofing. I can’t say enough about how positive my experience was with Shark and his crew. It started with going above and beyond during the estimate (fixing a loose shingle and identifying issues with my chimney to fix), and continued through politely and expertly answering all the questions I had about my roof. They even identified issues with ventilation in my attic and helped to fix them as part of the roof installation. My new roof and gutters look fantastic, and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the market for a new roof. This was my first new roof, and I couldn’t have made a better choice to go with Apolinar Roofing.
Adding to what my wife has already mentioned: Shark and his business is legit! He was the only one that came with a ladder for the estimate and got right up onto our roof and did a thorough assessment of the entire roof with pictures. He continued to explain every step of the process including materials. His team is his team and you can tell they have been working together for years! During the whole removal and install, Shark documented with pictures and videos and continuously updated a share point so we were able to watch as they work and it also speaks on their quality of work providing 100% transparency. The cost was ideal, especially considering the high quality of work. The advice that I can share with anyone looking to have their roof redone, the big name contractors sub contract the work. Not only are you going to pay a good amount more (1 of our estimates was $7k more than we paid!), but you are also gambling to get the big name contractors A Team. There is a sweet spot when shopping around for big projects, you want the team that is reliable and consistently provides high quality of work. That’s what you will get every time with Apolinar!!!
