A true gem in Dallas. The Nasher Sculpture Center is absolutely stunning. The museum itself is beautifully curated, with incredible modern and contemporary sculptures, but the real magic is the peaceful outdoor garden. It’s immaculately maintained, relaxing, and feels like a hidden oasis right in the middle of the city. Every exhibit feels thoughtfully placed, and the entire space is clean, elegant, and inspiring. The staff is welcoming, the atmosphere is calm, and whether you love art or just want a beautiful place to wander, this spot is unforgettable. Easily one of the best cultural experiences in Dallas.
Nasher gives so many options for viewing unique sculptures, dining and entertainment. The staff is always welcoming with helpful warming smiles. Being a member in any category is so rewarding. Some events are free if you register online if you're not a member. My normal visits are mostly for concerts, ie til Midnight at the Nasher. Live musical entertainment by local artist preforming various genres of music. There's no chairs, drinks or food admitting. The staff before entry does check bags. So grab your blanket/pillows and come out to enjoy the events. SN: Alcoholic Beverages are so overpriced for the amount served. Totally ridiculous!! Water stations are set up and is *FREE*!! There's NO sitting, standing, or anything on the concrete surroundings anywhere...

‘Til Midnight at the Nasher was my first experience at the sculpture center. This is probably one of the coolest spots (and crowds) that you can find in the downtown area. If you’re looking for an immersive and crisp way to experience art, you found it. The building’s interior was cleanly and tastefully built. Modern white oak floors showcase the sculptures. The courtyard is spectacular as well. Walk to the back where an exquisite weeping willow and water feature was perfectly placed between sculptures. Best outdoor live music I’ve heard in a long time. They also play movies every 3rd Saturday of the month in the months of March-October. Applause to the artists, architects and Nasher staff. Well done and thank you for a wonderful evening!
I had not been the the Nasher center in may years, so a couple Saturdays ago my bride and I made the trek over to wander the garden and see what they had going on in their creative spaces. The outdoor sculptures in the garden are great, worth the 10 bucks just to wander and enjoy the outdoor space and it's art. The artists displayed inside however, not impressed. The current wave of artists basically stacking junk up and calling it art doesn't appeal, especially when you contrast it with the talent on display outside. If that's your thing, you'll enjoy it, we just didn't. I do appreciate that they give some of these modern artists a place to display and seek engagement.
Even though it's a small museum, it's nice. It features artwork by special artists, and there are sculptures in the garden where you can sit and relax
