Great place to walk, run, dog walk, bird watch, bike or just sit! Be careful of the wooden bridges as they can be slippery. Lots of trails, fairly well marked with signs and colors
Absolutely stunning park! The trails are well-maintained and offer a nice variety, from the scenic boardwalks and covered bridge to the more rugged dirt paths through the upland woods. The wildflowers in the spring are incredible. It’s a true jewel for birders and nature lovers in the middle of the city. Highly recommend for a peaceful escape!
We rented all three campsites at Wiregrass Metropark a few summers back and had an Amazing Experience! The Lake provides for some really good Photography.

It's a really nice park, ive been several times over the years and still have seen all of it!
Really nice park with many different trails and mostly covered with trees so ideal for warm summer days to cool off. With the breeze and a cooler climate in the woods. Also nice resting areas and lots of playgrounds. They also have tours for the mansion. Nice flowered around the buildings. And amazing and clean toilets.
