Fell in love with this Italian Restaurant in Downtown Phoenix. It was a cozy intimate setting for our 28th Anniversary. The atmosphere was perfect and the music is my favorite now, Tame Impalas "Breathe Deeper!" The food was outstanding! Perfectly cooked with the Italian flare we were hoping for. The Tiramasu, a great finishing touch. Our server, Chloe, was friendly and very attentive. She went above and beyond to help make this Anniversary memorable! We definitely will be back to try your Espresso Martinis during Happy Hour per Chloes suggestion. Thanks Again!!
I went here 2x while on a business trip. The first day was amazing!! The whipped ricotta with hot honey and focaccia was AMAZING! I ate the entire thing by myself! The second visit wasn’t a big of a hit. I sat at the outside bar and could smell the bar dishwasher - very mildewed smell. The meatballs were good, maybe a touch over salted. The cacio e Pepe was not well incorporated. It’s a simple dish and delicious when done properly. The sauce should be velvety smooth, but this was not. It was grainy as the cheese wasn’t melted well. It was cold. Disappointing. However both times the bartenders were attentive. The decor is cute with friendly staff. I’d go back just for the whipped ricotta!!

I ordered the chicken parm, added pasta and miniature gulf shrimp. All were salty, but the chicken parm even more so. The chargrill on the shrimp was heavy on the char. The flavor was a little off putting. The pasta would have been nice if it were lighter on salt. The server made a point to tell me the chicken parm isn’t the same as Olive Garden, and was more authentic Italian. Is not chicken parm, chicken parm? I was low key insulted that she assumed that I’ve been to the Olive Garden. (The only different is that OG’s chicken is filleted.) I’ve finished and have been sitting here writing this review, waiting to get my check. The bread and house salad are good. Too much salt was the main issue here, but they were good about refunding the chicken parm to make up for it.
Amazing food! Our waiter Giulio was very attentive and answered all of our questions. His recommendations were great, service was quick and everything was fresh. We had a second server, Chloe, who was equally as friendly. 10/10, would return if I’m back in Phoenix
Stopped in for an impromptu dinner (no reservation) and ended up having a great dining experience. I was immediately sat outside. I skipped the bread but the focaccia looked amazing. The star of the show was the short rib pasta which was homemade fantastic pasta with a rich short rib sauce with lots of meat. Huge portions! I finished with the tiramisu which initially seemed small but melted in your mouth and was incredibly filling. Seriously worth it!! I washed it all down with a couple of healthy pours of delicious white wine. I look forward to coming back!!
