What a hidden gem on Houston's East End! Today my neighbor Linda and I took a little adventure over to Smither Park, and what a fun surprise it was! Every direction you looked revealed another colorful mosaic, whimsical sculpture, or creative work of art. There was even a Little Free Library tucked inside the park! It's amazing how talented artists can transform broken pieces of tile, glass, and pottery into something so beautiful. It reminded me that sometimes the broken pieces in our own lives can come together to create something truly special. Houston never ceases to amaze me with all the unique places waiting to be discovered. Spending the afternoon exploring, laughing, and making memories with a good friend made the day even better. Have you ever visited Smither Park? If so, what was your favorite piece of artwork? If you haven't, I'd definitely recommend adding it to your Houston bucket list!
One of the most creative art installations I have ever seen and been to. This park is in the center of an urban neighborhood with little traffic. It’s definitely a tourist draw and with good reason. A beautiful dedication to a prolific artist and his family that put this together. I can only imagine the hours, sweat and energy spent on such a project. Kudos to everyone that took part!

Really enjoyed all the details. This park is filled with nothing but artistic creativity. Artsy and eclectic Super photogenic (seriously, every angle is a photo spot 📸) Relaxed—perfect for strolling, picnics, or just soaking it all in.
I brought my youngest daughter here and we loved the art! It’s a must do if you ever in the area. Now, there is a big robot in the middle of the park and we could not figure out how to use it. I did see in the back that there was a mechanism that wasn’t attached to the robot and broken. Update and fix this please! Other than that great place to picnic.
I went here for my birthday with my family. If you like mosaics you will love this park. There are swings and picnic tables. Free parking on the street. No restroom but there is a nice gas station less than a mile on I45.
