Great stay at the TownePlace Suites Toledo. We arrived erlier than expected, called to see if we could get early check in and Lyndsay Jeschke was able to accomodate us. She was so pleasant and friendly. Great start to our stay. Other "shout outs" include the two dining attendants. I did not catch their names but they were exceptional. Extremely friendly, hard working, always had everything stocked or at the ready. The food was tasty and the area clean. Great way to start each day. Our room was fantastic. My only complaint and the reason I did not give a 5 star rating is the seating area in the livingroom is not comfortable. There are only two seats on the couch, their is an armrest on one side that is not removable so no where to put that arm and there is no armrest on the other side so no where to put that arm. There is one ottoman that can accomodate one person so no where for the other person to put their feet. It is a highly uncomfortable setup. I would suggest putting in a regular loveseat or at least one that has regular armrests, a full size coffee table/ottoman, and an additional chair. I love my husband but we like a little space when we are unwinding. One other suggestion - appreciate the shower ammenities, would also appreciate liquid handsoap and body lotion by the sink. We have had this in other hotels and it is really appreciated. I can not fault this specific hotel for the seating design in the livingroom. However, it was uncomfortable and did affect our stay. Other than that, the staff are wonderful, great spaces throughout the hotel (inside and outside), coffee at the ready all day (yay), good food. Really, really happy with our stay. We will stay there again on our next trip to Toledo - we come every year to visit family.

King suite is nice with solid amenities. It seems all hotels now struggle to provide simple housekeeping. I checked in Monday and it's Thursday night. I don't have clean towels and they've never been replaced, my bed hasn't been made once, and the trash hasn't been taken out. I was hoping this hotel would be different. It's not. I was told upon check-in I would have housekeeping on Thursday, which makes no logical since to clean Thursday, instead of Wednesday if you're here all work week. The key card slip also says housekeeping Thursday. I guess I'll start booking one night reservations for the work week wherever I go or demand a new room each day. It's not like you pay less money each night to forego housekeeping. I payed the same each night as 4 different people staying 1 night each and each having a clean room everyday, yet my room has looked the same for 4 days. Off I go to the front desk to get clean towels and hear "sorry" from yet another Marriott hotel. It's just rinse and repeat with no towels to dry off.
Excellent experience!!!! Place was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was wonderful. Jeremy at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Our room was in a little cubby which was so nice. Beds were comfortable. Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
I Stayed in the King suite. It was nice and very comfortable. We enjoyed the room so much we stayed an extra day. Everyone was kind. When I checked in I was asked my preference of the location of my room and the placement I was given was perfect. The other thing that impressed the kitchenette had an oven. oh and the closets. This room is perfect long stay room.
We had a great stay here in our way home from Cleveland Clinic. The guy who checked us in was great! He was friendly and so attentive to what we needed. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very good. I highly recommend this place.
