The service is impeccable. I am definitely impressed by the customer service here. From the vale, front desk, to the bar, everything in between everyone is so incredibly nice and helpful. They even surprised us with a bottle of champagne to our room when they found out we were celebrating our anniversary!
My daughter & I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Dallas in Las Colinas celebrating Mother’s Day weekend. Staying in any 5-star hotel you obviously expect the accommodations to be excellent but sometimes the service is not up to par. We were very impressed with this hotel’s overall service—the valet, greetings, check-in with roses, shuttle to the villas, in-room dining, housekeeping + turn down service, room engineer replacing light bulb, dining at Knife Restaurant plus dinner was excellent, EVERYONE delivered 5-star service.👏This is what makes a hotel stand out above the rest so guests enjoy their stay. Plus, our villa was superb. Thank you everyone and we can’t wait to return. We really enjoyed ourselves!❤️

I'm lucky enough to stay at Ritz properties fairly often and this Ritz has the friendliest and most caring staff I have ever experienced! The front desk staff got us into our rooms early and upgraded me to a villa due to some construction noise on Level 2 of the tower. The valet staff and room service staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back.
A genuinely beautiful property that carries the Ritz-Carlton elegance you’d expect — impeccably clean, well-maintained, and lovely throughout. That said, the aesthetic leans distinctly 90s, and a refresh would go a long way toward matching the standard of newer luxury properties. The real highlight of our stay was the lobby bar. Armando and James were absolutely exceptional — warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about their craft. The drinks and food they served made for one of the best experiences of the trip. If you stay here, don’t skip the bar. We were graciously upgraded to a Villa room, which was a wonderful surprise — quiet, spacious, and a cut above. The gym and racquetball facilities are impressive, though be aware you share them with the adjacent country club, which can feel a bit less exclusive than expected at this price point. Dinner at the on-site steakhouse was a mixed bag. The aged ribeye, unfortunately, was quite tough — disappointing for a signature cut. However, the pasta and burrata were genuinely wonderful and worth ordering. With some consistency in the kitchen, this could be a great dining destination. Overall, a property with real charm and some outstanding staff — just with room to grow.
Problem after problem from the time of arrival through after departure. Quite the experience for my first stay at a Ritz as a "Titanium member". I'm not on the top end of the spectrum by far, but average ~75 Marriott stays annually and can only think of 2 that were this bad in the 20+ years of loyalty. Before I go into the negative, I should highlight the handful of ladies and gentlemen that were extremely kind, helpful, and made elements of my stay better: Joshua (front desk), Michael (cart/valet), Megan (front desk), Pedro (banquets), Emmanuel (banquets/facilities), Joanna (hostess @ Knife), Rene (server @ Knife) Arrival: *Lost Food # 1 - Flight delays, so ordered to be delivered in room. At arrival, they had no notes, were not aware of it, couldn't find it. They asked if I had a picture, if it was delivered to correct location, etc. I showed confirmation and was met with doubt. Then I found a delivery picture that showed their counter and they acknowledged it was there's and THEN started looking. It took over 4 hours to find it, but by then it had been sitting who knows where and was past TX health code to serve. They delivered outside of room anyways at 200AM, where they let it sit in the hall for TWO DAYS. *Room was set to 62F, *no light switch or motion sensor - had to use phone's flash light to turn on a lamp, patio doors were all unlocked *Broken shower heads in both bath & shower - leaking water from hose connections, so no pressure at all *Shampoo & Conditioner dispensers were broken, not screwed locked *Pocket door to bathroom was broken - took some serious force to close & open it *Wooden shade door to patio was broken so you could see into master bed from outside. *Lost Food # 2 - Second chance. Food was delivered to front desk. Asked the lady that was in the picture if she had received the delivery. She said she didn't see anything, no notes, etc. I showed her the delivery picture with HER in it, and she just brushed it off. It "magically appeared" in my room, 3 hours later - no text, no phone call, no Marriott message, no apology. *Check out on day 3 - I inform on Tues that I'm leaving earlier than 5 days (Weds). When I checkout, I remind and reverify with them again, being assured it was handled. When I receive my bill, I was charged not for 3, but for 5 days. Called and was told something to the effect that I should have said something. I told them I did, TWICE. Should have never taken 2 days of me following up, but it was finally corrected. I had requested to share my feedback with the GM or ops manager, grab a cup of coffee, and highlight those people that were exceptional. I shared that saw this as an opportunity to embrace Ritz traditions and seek ways to continue improving. I did eventually receive an email (see attached). Felt very sterile, and AI-generated/generic, shifting blame etc. They sought for a follow up, but they never followed through to contact. So, since it's been almost 4 weeks, and I've given ample opportunity, I am sharing my experience and hope that it helps your decision. Would I give them another chance, yes. Will it be any time soon, not very likely.
