This was by far the best meal we had while visiting Denver and probably one of the better meals I've had anywhere. Our server was very helpful, friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend anyone in the Denver area putting this restaurant on their agenda to visit soon. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back. We had the Goat cheese stuffed chicken with basil and roasted tomatoes served with pan sauce, garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The flavor combination was phenomenal and everything was cooked to perfection. We also had the 4 cheese macaroni with grilled chicken breast. The entire meal was extraordinary. I would suggest walking if you're staying close by in the area or taking an Uber because parking in the area is quite difficult.
The food was mediocre. Bison burger was not great and it had a bone in it. The Mac and Cheese was good. The sweet potato fries were tasty and the beef dish my daughter got was okay. The “live” music thats advertised, should start a lot earlier in my opinion. We paid 15.00 to get a table in the reserved area for the live music (5.00 per person) then you are charged 20% when you get your check (that goes to the band) and then if you choose to leave additional gratuity for the server you can (which I did). We ended up leaving before hearing the music at 9pm. We expected to see a full restaurant because of the band however everyone left and we were the second to the last table to leave. You would think with the cover charge and the 20% it would be for a band that has a following. Not a horrible spot overall but certainly not the best.

Came here for our last night in Denver and wish we would have came here first. Everything we got was so delicious, we were talking about how good it was on the way back home. Highly recommend the bison birria tacos, mac&cheese and any steak from here, all cooked perfectly. Great service and good vibes the moment we walked in. Live music at night is a plus too.
Visiting Denver and stopped by Appaloosa Grill. Absolute perfection! The Bison Pastrami Reuben was incredibly flavorful, tender, and hit all the right notes. Pair that with the green chile fries, and you have the ultimate Colorado comfort meal. I stopped in during their daily Happy Hour from 3 to 6 PM for some great deals on bites and beverages. I will definitely be back for this exact combo next time I am in town!
Great local Denver restaurant with an impressive beer selection. The bison steak is excellent too — rich, flavorful, and just enough to make regular beef feel slightly insecure.
