Easy off the highway. Room clean and comfortable. Shower had plenty of towels, wall dispenser for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner - bonus for the long hair and ecological minded sets! Real advantage of this location is lots of sidewalk - we were able to get some fresh air and exercise. Walked over to local Kroger for some snacks.
I don't know how this hotel got such high ratings. The rooms/building itself were fine (though our room felt like a rainforest even with air on). The location was great. But the service was pretty bad. The front desk wasn't very pleasant from when we got there to when we left. When I asked for towels to be sent up to our room the next day you would have thought I asked them to be hand woven before we returned. The breakfast was bad, even for a hotel breakfast, and not being re-stocked. Then we accidently left my daughter's bathing suit there. I called that night and the lady didn't even want to bother checking lost and found, just told me to call back in am. The lady I talked to this morning was nice enough to check both lost and found and housekeeping but apparently housekeeping just decided to toss it. Not cool. When we return next it will definitely be with another hotel. **Edit, wanted to respond to hotel's comment. I called within 8 hours of checkout and when the woman didn't feel like checking lost and found, the 2nd call was within 24 hours**

We stayed for two nights. The room was very nice. Bed comfortable and so many fluffy pillows! The staff, unbelievably unfriendly. They don’t even acknowledge your existence. Between the front desk staff, house cleaning staff and the woman in charge of the breakfast bar. It was crazy! So I went back to previous reviews to see if this was common, YUP! Many people said the same thing about the staff. Apparently no one lets the staff know what guests have to say about their attitudes and unfriendly attitudes. Even when we turned in our keys as we were leaving this morning, the front desk lady was on a personal phone call, looked at my husband and just gave him a thumbs up. Oh well 🤷♀️
Thank you Confort Inn for providing a quality hotel and a very reasonable price... Your hotel was much better than your sister property, Country Inn and Suites, that we left to come to you to finish our stay. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were nice, and the beds were firm enough. My view of the Honda car lot was amazing. The late night staff could have been nicer at times, the pool could have had less chlorine (but it was open!!), the breakfast could have stayed open till 10, you had to have quarters to get anything out of the snack machine... but all these are very minor complaints... I will consider staying there again if I am in the area with my friend.
Had to make a stop here almost two weeks ago on the way to Detroit due to storms passing thru the area. This hotel is definitely on the list of high-rated and high-value Comfort Inn & Suites that I've visted. The hotel was nice, clean, and quiet, and was very comfortable for the nights stay. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, and helped us with everything we needed (which wasn't much.) Will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in the area!
