I Had a great experience at the Apex Museum. Wonderful artifacts to share black history. Ms. Bianca and Ms. Jasmine were so nice. I came to explore and that I did. I wanted to do a Black History read aloud for my students in the Museum. Not only did they allow me but gave me an audience. Was happy to share the I Am Enough book. It was right on time. Thank you for the experience.
Visited the museum with a youth church group during their spring break...the museum is a hidden jewel of the city as well as our history...I discovered some of my family's history during the tour...never knew my ancestors played a vital role in the early 1900th...having the 1st black owned drug store- Yates Drug Store The staff were very knowledgeable and you could tell that they have a passion for sharing Black History...will definitely put the Apex Museum on my tour list to take family/ friends to visit ❤️

Certainly the best Museum in Atlanta. Great exhibit, and amazing staff and curators, I am glad I spent some time talking with them. The full exhibit is about one hour, a lot of things to learn and to reflect on.
The absolute best African American Educational Museum. I took my grands here and they loved it. We spent two hours walking through entire Museum and read EVERYTHING!! Love how it shows the absolute TRUTH with evidence of what happened to our Educated, Gifted African Kings and Queens by force migrating them all to America as slaves.
Wonderful museum, small in size but filled with interesting information. 2 short movies sets the tone and each area is numbered taking you in sequence on the historic journey of enslavement.
