Spice Charlotte

Our server Madison was Amazing!! I went for the first time with a party of 3 & tbh the portions weren’t as big as expected but the hospitality made up for it! The lychee martini Madison recommended was also great! Thank you Madison for being so kind & giving top tier customer service on a Thursday night!! I’ll definitely go back although portions weren’t big the flavors were there. We tried almost everything on the menu & left full so we were satisfied!

Food: We enjoyed a variety of dishes during our visit. The Salmon Satay offered nice, large, flavorful bites. The Crab Fried Rice was a standout, with small lumps of crab and rice that had elevated, well-balanced flavors throughout. The Brussels sprouts were served with bacon on the side (by choice, we shared I am a pescartarian); while the sauce helped enhance the taste, the sprouts could have been cooked down a bit more, as they were still somewhat firm. For dessert, the Crème Brûlée had good flavor, but the sugar crust was extremely thick—so thick that it needed to be removed to fully enjoy the custard underneath. The Chocolate Mousse was not a traditional presentation, as it included additional textures mixed in. That said, the mousse itself was smooth, nicely sweet, and not overpowering. Service: Service was attentive, professional, and consistent throughout the meal. We felt well taken care of without being rushed. Atmosphere: The ambiance was a highlight. The space is very low-lit, clean, and minimalist, creating an intimate and inviting dining experience. Final Thoughts: Spice is a great option for a refined night out in Charlotte, especially if you value strong service and atmosphere. While a few dishes could benefit from minor execution tweaks, the overall experience was very enjoyable and worth a visit.
