This was my first time visiting this park; we came specifically for the cherry blossoms. It boasts a special location, and its size and layout make it an excellent spot for a family outing. My children and I were absolutely delighted. It is definitely recommended; there are plenty of parking spaces—it isn't free, but the cost is reasonable.
Goodale Park is the older public park in Columbus. It's very nice and well-mantained with a fantastic small water fountain with on the top two elephants.
We went down for the Pride Parade. The weather was amazing and it was fun to people watch. It's always a great time at Goodale Park.

This was my first time visiting Goodale Park, and it is an amazing place! There are lots of seating areas, which make it perfect for a picnic spot. The lake is beautiful, covered with water lilies, and I even saw plenty of dragonflies fluttering around. The elephant fountain is wonderful — I loved watching the water stream out of the elephants’ trunks. I also noticed some park benches with built-in chessboards. If I had brought chess pieces, I would have loved to sit and play a game there. There are also plenty of walking paths, making it a great place to stroll and relax. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature in the city.
Nice park. Small and can get filled up fast, but the water fountain and large lawn area is great to lay out when the weather is nice.
