Went in for some warm food and was not disappointed. Ordered pho with steak and meatballs. The meatballs were very tasty and the broth was rich. Loved the atmosphere. Can definitely get busy so if you have a big group be prepared but they have a good amount if table to accommodate large groups. Also ordered some cocktails included the Asian vacation, very tasty if you like pineapple and the blood of tiger ( which is an amazing cocktail to try my friends favorite and go to when she visits).
I had the round steak and lean brisket pho at Luc Lac Vietnamese Kitchen in downtown Portland, and wow… the flavor was absolutely on point. The broth was the first thing that stood out. Deep, clean, rich without being heavy. You can taste the time and care that went into it. The round steak was tender, the brisket was lean but still packed with flavor, and everything came together exactly how good pho should. I am a foodie and very picky when it comes to pho. I always judge the broth first, and this one delivered. No shortcuts, no gimmicks, just solid technique and balance. To be fair, I had just come off a 72 hour fast, so my taste buds were definitely awake, but that honestly made me appreciate it even more. This bowl hit all the right notes and reminded me why pho done right is both comfort and craft. Excellent quality, great execution, and absolutely worth a stop if you are downtown. I will definitely be back.

me and my friends went here at night & it was nice chill restaurant with hype beat music, cool designs and interior as well. pho is good and cozy for the cold weather. reccomend the train pho if you ever come here! bowl was very big and enough to fill my stomach.
Sadly this place is now a shadow of its former self. This used to be one of our favorite spots in Portland but while some of the items (drinks in the bar) feel familiar and the portions are still good the quality is so bad compared to what it used to be. The Meat in the vermicelli combo were all pre-cooked and dry as a bone. It was hard to chew it was so overcooked and dry. On top of that they were not heated up enough so they were both overcooked and lukewarm. $75 for lunch for two to eat reheated dry meat is unacceptable.
I’ve been here many times and this is absolutely one of my favorite spots when I crave a spicy coconut curry dish. The atmosphere is cozy, modern and has a PNW/Asian vibe, which perfectly compliments Portland’s foodie scene. All the dishes and cocktails here are beautifully crafted, vibrant and flavorful. Two covered/heated outdoor seating areas and full bar. Take out is very popular as well.
