A couple of my friends were in town, and we finally had a chance to check out Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall right off the Atlanta Beltline. We ordered the smoked brisket pastrami sandwich, the classic cheeseburger, the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, plus mac and cheese and fries. Everyone agreed the food was outstanding—flavorful, fresh, and very satisfying. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. One big plus is the ample paid parking, which makes visiting much easier. My only minor criticism is the service model. Since you order and pay up front, there isn't much table service. If you want to order something else later, you'll need to go back to the counter. It's a sandwich shop, so I understand the concept, but it's the one thing I'd change. Overall, we had a great experience, and I'd definitely recommend Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall. It's close to where I live, so I can see this becoming one of my regular spots.
I left a review a couple months ago, but I feel like this was worth a new one. Ladybird has THE BEST bacon egg and cheese biscuits! The biscuits are always fresh and never dry. A nice portion of egg and bacon. Great quality! No one else around here has a better BEC biscuit. The staff is AMAZING here! So friendly! My favorite stop on the Beltline for breakfast during my walk.

This has definitely become one of my go-to spots! The atmosphere is always chill, fun, and perfect for hanging out with friends. They host movie nights and Love Island watch parties, which makes it even more enjoyable. The drinks and pouches are great, and the service is consistently amazing. On one visit, a staff member even moved benches and tables for our group upon request, which was greatly appreciated. The bartenders are always fantastic—JP and Alessandro are especially attentive and make incredible drinks every time. The vibes are always fun, welcoming, and upbeat. We keep coming back because we always have a great experience. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back often!

I’ve been here several times, at different times of the day, and it never disappoints! Recently we tried their breakfast biscuit and coffee! Highly recommend! Such a fun atmosphere and great patio when the weather is nice. Fires available when it’s chilly out. Big projector screen when there is a game on! . Went back and got the banana cold brew, and it was amazing! Just wish there was less ice!
