Had an amazing time at Edgewater Park near Lake Erie! The views of the water were absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing. We grabbed some delicious food from the food truck, and sitting there enjoying the meal while listening to the great music playing made for a perfect experience. Definitely need to go back.
I recently spent some time at Edgewater Park and it was a pretty calm, straightforward visit overall. The biggest highlight for me was the view of Lake Erie. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit on the grass or along the shoreline and watch the water for a while without feeling rushed. I went in the late afternoon, and it wasn’t too crowded, so it felt easy to relax. The park itself is simple. There are walking paths, open spaces, and a beach area, but don’t expect anything overly fancy or highly maintained in every corner. Some areas are better kept than others, but nothing that really ruined the experience. Parking was manageable when I went, though I’ve heard it can get busy during weekends or summer days. I’d probably avoid peak hours if you’re looking for quiet. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you just want fresh air, water views, and a place to slow down a bit. Not a destination for activities or entertainment, but good for a low-key visit.

This is a beautiful park with a beach on Lake Erie. It was a very windy day & unsafe to get in the water on the day we were there. A nice walking trail is in the area along with a pier to walk out on.
A very beautiful park! A gem of the city, for anyone who wants to say Cleveland isn’t beautiful they clearly haven’t been here! Walking paths, beaches, it really is a must see.
I am in Cleveland working. I have never been here before. So I definitely wanted to see Lake Erie before leaving. I have never seen a Great Lake. It was cold today but still worth seeing. Today is Easter so there were families out together. Flying kites and having meals. Everyone was so nice. There is plenty of parking. Don't hesitate to stop here and enjoy the scenery.
