First time there under ne management. These guys are awesome. I picked up a bolt in my front left tire on my 2025 GMC SIERRA 1500. It was in a good spot so they were able to plug it. I was literally there for 10 mins. He wouldn't even let me pay. I highly recommend SOUTH CHARLOTTE AUTOMOTIVE.
I can’t recommend South Charlotte Automotive enough!! They were super quick, honest, and transparent from start to finish. They helped me track down an issue that was keeping my car from passing inspection, tried multiple gas caps to troubleshoot it, and even took my car to get inspected for me (same day!) They always go above and beyond! , and I never felt pressured into unnecessary repairs. I’ll definitely keep coming back and recommending them to friends and family because I know they’ll always take great care of me! Out of all the mechanic shops I’ve been to in Charlotte, they’re easily my favorite!

Brought Hyundai in for an issue it was having with what sounds like a belt squeal that is a problem/then it isn’t. Brought car to Anthony to check it out, and when he was driving it, couldn’t identify the sound - which I do believe is accurate. Asked him if a video of the sound would be sufficient so I could get it on my time and not waste his, and he said it will help him but may not confirm the diagnosis, which I agreed was fair. A few days later I was able to record the noise and I called him to let him know, and he said “no that won’t work I told you that and that you will need to bring the vehicle in when it’s making this noise” which just wasn’t going to happen and he knew that. I told him that wasn’t what was communicated to me, by him, and he hung up the phone. Thought it was an unprofessional way to go about things but perhaps he isn’t looking for new business. I give him 2 stars because he didn’t charge me for looking at my car and up until this interaction I was fully planning to bring my car to him for any and all problems.
This is hands down one of the best auto shops in Charlotte, let alone NC. Anthony and his team constantly have done right by me and my vehicles. Even when I’m unsure what the problem may be, Anthony takes the time to explain the problem, my different options, and the costs which always end up being very reasonable, and better than you can find elsewhere. Nothing is ever hidden or unexpected with pricing as they are honorable and honest people. Bring your vehicles here for service!
