I chose to use Streb Electric again because they did good work on a previous job and because I appreciated their process of sending a photo and the name of the electrician before arrival. That made it easy for me and my family to know who to expect at the door and when. For this visit, I scheduled a 1:00–3:00 PM appointment and was told I’d be notified when the electrician was on the way. Instead, the technician arrived about 10 minutes before 1:00 with no call or text. My wife was home with our two‑month‑old son and let him in, and he did the walkthrough and discussed the work before I could get there. The appointment was made with me, and I was not comfortable with the technician entering and starting the walkthrough without the person who booked the job present. At the very least, he should have waited outside until I arrived or the office should have contacted me. I had agreed to pay a $69 fee for the estimate, but given how the visit was handled and the lack of communication, it was frustrating to be charged for that. When I called to raise my concerns, Shannon in the office acknowledged they had missed a step, but her response did not come across as particularly apologetic or as recognizing how serious it is to have a technician inside my home and doing a walkthrough without the person who booked the job present. The estimate itself was also higher than I expected: $700, or about $550 if I signed up for an ongoing monthly “Safety and Saving Plan,” just to replace five existing bedroom outlets, with me supplying the new outlets. I decided not to move forward with the work. Based on this experience, even though prior work was good, I don’t plan to use Streb Electric again.

I am pleased to provide a review of my recent experience with Streb electric. They were able to fit me in to their schedule quickly, which was much appreciated. They offered thorough estimates, clearly outlining the work that needed to be done. The team was courteous throughout the entire process. I am very satisfied that the job was completed on time and to my expectations, without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a positive and professional service. Ryan Compton was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and will use for future electrical needs.
Outstanding technician demonstrating a vast knowledge of electrical systems. David is highly adaptable to any situation and is very sensitive to customer needs. This was a very pleasant experience, and Cooper was outstanding as well. Great work!
I had a breaker I couldn't reset. I learned it was due to an outlet that could have caught fire if the breaker didn't do what its supposed to. Response time was excellent. Communication was great. Problem was found & safely repaired. Very courteous help. And price seemed fair. Also installed a whole house surge protector, something from my wish list. This was to prevent items on my aeration septic system from being damaged, which seemed to happen with about every power failure. The surge protector should now safeguard that issue.
David did an electrical house inspection and then gave us an estimate for the electrical work that we wanted to be addressed at our house. We were very pleased with his inspection and his estimate. David returned today(7/2/26) and completed the work that he estimated for us. The work completed was awesome, hauled out the old light fixtures, removed other debris, and completed the work today. We had many light fixtures replaced, inside and outside. David did an excellent job and we would recommend Streb Electric to anyone looking to have electrical work completed at their house. Thank you Streb Electric and David.
