Tried kitchen kocktails for the first time. First, the vibe is so chill—the music and atmosphere are great. I was singing along like I was at home. The drinks were amazing; I had the new drink Forever Love and the marshmallow espresso martini, both fantastic. The Forever Love left a soft kiss of cream on your lips every time you sipped like lipstick 💄 and it had me calling my waiter babe 😂! The marshmallow espresso martini was delicious! My server Dennis was super amazing; I really appreciated his service and attentiveness! I tried the blackened salmon dirty rice dish, and I will say I would order it again and again. Also, it's Black-owned—go Kevin!
Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley in Charlotte was an amazing experience! The atmosphere is upscale yet still welcoming—perfect for a night out. From the host, bartender, and our server to the chef and even the General Manager who came to our table to check on us, everyone was incredibly inviting. Our server, Ashanti, was absolutely out of this world. In my entire life, I’ve never encountered someone with such exceptional customer service. We were truly well taken care of and she gave great recommendations for everyone at our table and checked on us consistently, making sure everything came out fresh and hot. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was well seasoned, fresh, and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as good. The whole vibe was lively and fun.This is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Tonight's experience at the Charlotte location did not disappoint. I initially went to the Chicago location a few years ago while visiting for a conference and was excited that this gem was getting a NC location. I was finally able to stop in and once again the food and drinks were top tier! Lexi was my bartender and took food care of me. She made great suggestions and ensured that I loved everything! I ended upnwith the hot honey wings and trinity roll. She was awesome and definitely made me enjoy the experience despite being alone. So major thanks to Lexi for making sure I had good food and drinks for tonight. Officially a fan of Kitchen and Kocktails!
Carmen, our server was so friendly and helped with the menu! She was attentive and helped make a birthday special. The food was good alittle to much toppings with the butter pecan on the waffles about it was good. The hot honey chicken was good! 3 for the atmosphere because it was hot.. the AC was taking its sweet time.
Finally!! I've been considering this restaurant since they open here in Charlotte and it finally happened today! I made reservations for 6:15 and we arrived at 6:12 and was immediately seated. The restaurant was almost a full capacity which I was surprised about considering the tone of day. It took longer than expected for anyone to come over to our table once seated (maybe 10 mins) but once she came. I think her make was Makayla and see was really nice and told us what sooner of her favorites were. I decided on the catfish, Mac & cheese and collard greens. Everything was cooked to perfection and well seasoned! That fish was fried right okay! Hubs got the grits, fried lobster tail and blackened shrimp. So good! Loved the music they were playing and the volume was perfect. Tables are pretty closer together. Overall, great experience and food was AMAZING! I was scared to come because o heard that you'll wait too long even with a reservation. Happy that wasn't my experience. Planning to go back.
