I'm incredibly thankful to Downtown Car Care Center for diagnosing and repairing my brake issue same day so that I could enjoy my vacation instead of spending it stressing about "what if they don't have the parts?" or "what an I gonna do if my car's not done in time?". Thank you for catching and fixing what my dealership somehow "couldn't find" when I asked them about it before coming down here and at a much more reasonable price than I would have gotten there for sure. Made the ride back up much less nerve racking than the ride down. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area.
A friend recommended, and I had a great experience. Car stuff is always opaque and stressful, but their customer service was friendly, casual, nonjudgmental, and transparent. I had quite a laundry list of expensive services due to some damages and deferred maintenance. Their pricing fell (mercifully) right in the middle of the range I was expecting from my research—I was praying it wouldn’t be much more, and much less might have made me suspicious. They were communicative and speedy. After my initial service I noticed an issue hadn’t been entirely resolved (which only revealed itself after driving at speed, so I don’t fault them), and they happily made time for me to bring it back by with no extra charge. I even spaced the appointment, and they graciously just made me another one the next day! No frills, no nonsense, no tedious upsells, no padding—just a restored car and a refreshed trust for mechanics.

Gotta acknowledge Downtown Care Care Center for your honesty. The issue had previously been diagnosed at another auto mechanic and the price for the repair was quoted at $1,500. You informed the part was in working order but needed a factory reset which didn't cost me anything. Thank you!
I have been getting my car worked on since Downtown Auto Care was located in Fletcher Place, back in the early 90’s. You couldn’t ask for a better group of folks to take care of you. They are honest, fairly priced, and just good people. I have recommended many people to take their cars there for repairs and service and, every one of them have been more than satisfied. I highly recommend Downtown Car Care as the best place in Marion County to take care of all of your car needs.
