I can’t say enough nice things about this company. Our air conditioning quit working and they came out quickly to look at it. Unfortunately it could not be repaired. It was 23 years old. We got a very fair quote on a replacement and even a discount for cash. The day they arrived to install it, we ask for a quote on a new furnace. Again very fair price so we decided to go for it. Without hesitation the technician called to see if one was available. There was and they installed both within a few hours. Extremely nice, professional people. We are very happy customers.
We can’t say enough good things about East Ohio Furnace Company. Our heater went out in the dead of winter, and a larger company we initially called tried to convince us we needed a full system replacement for our 13-year-old unit — quoting us $15,000-$20,000. Something felt off, so we decided to get a second opinion and crowdsourced recommendations on social media. EOFC’s name came up again and again, so we gave them a call. Their technician came out quickly and was honest with us from the start. Turns out we didn’t need a new system at all, just a part replacement that cost a few thousand dollars, a fraction of what we’d been quoted. They even complimented us on how well we’d maintained our HVAC system and told us we could realistically get another 15-20 years out of it. It’s rare to find a company that puts honesty ahead of a bigger sale. More recently, our air conditioner went out and our house started heating up fast. EOFC had someone at our door within two hours. The fix was quick and simple and we were grateful to have our ac back in the 90 degree heat. Every technician we’ve worked with has been friendly, patient, and great with our two young boys, who love watching them work. In my experience, EOFC has been fast, fair, and trustworthy. We highly recommend them for anyone with furnace or air conditioning needs.

We have used East Ohio twice now and both times were great. We had a squirrel get into and then die inside an internal fan of our furnace and couldn’t get it out no matter what we tried. East Ohio’s number was on the side of the furnace so we called them at 930pm, not knowing what else to do. They had someone at our house at 8am the next morning and removed the squirrel, changed our filter for us, and fixed some of what we’d messed up trying to get the thing out ourselves. Matt was the tech and he was great at communicating and resolving the issue. We asked Matt to get us on the schedule for an A/C service with them, happy to give them more business. I messed up and didn’t leave a door unlocked for them and had to last minute reschedule. They didn’t miss a beat and happily rescheduled for the next day. Wife was home and said they were incredibly friendly, professional, and informative. Jacob was the tech and I appreciate how comfortable he made her feel while he did the service for us. Friendly, professional, affordable. They are now our furnace company and I’ll happily refer anyone who asks.
East Ohio was fabulous! I called on a Monday after closing, they still called me back. They did say it may be a few days as they are slammed. They called me the next morning and said they are in the area that morning would it work for me for them to stop same day. They came out and it did take a few hours but checked everything our to make sure the AC was up and running and running properly! Thank you so much! This was done through a Home Warranty so I only paid the deductible. Not sure what the charge was.
What a wonderful company and an even better technician. Matt is absolutely phenomenal. He was informative, professional and knowledgeable about his trade. He listened, explained and was extremely polite. Our gas furnace started blowing off again, on again cool air. This was through our warranty company and East Ohio responded and had someone out in less than 24 hours. Furnace was fixed by wonderful Matt and he told me what to do if I encounter future problems! Great company and Matt is even better! Thanks East Ohio and Matt!
