I had a great stay at this hotel, and this is easily the nicest Doubletree I have stayed in. I was informed that I had received a complementary upgrade a few days before arrival and was placed on the top floor at check in. The service was top notch from the moment I arrived. It was a particularly rainy day and the Dominique at the front desk kindly allowed me to leave my car up front for a few minutes to unload all my stuff under the covered front area and get it up to the room dry, and shortly after, David provided me an umbrella so I wouldn’t get wet when going to park my car, all this without needing to request it. DeLuis was also very helpful when I needed to grab an extra set of breakfast vouchers for my accompanying guest. The service here was consistent and positive. The room did have some quirks from its older design, but it was very well kept and seemed to have been renovated in the past few years. My only suggestion would be to raise the shower heads in the rooms, as someone who is 6’5 I found it a little hard to wash my hair. The room was spotlessly cleaned and the beds were wonderful. There was also no shortage of hot water or pressure, which was a big plus. I loved the big open lobby too. As someone who loves architecture from the mid-twentieth century, I loved the big open lobby and atrium. Thanh and Raul were wonderful at the restaurant, and the food here was surprisingly good. Julieta and Maritza at breakfast were friendly every day, and helped get my morning going. Breakfast was also of good quality, and since I got an upgrade I also got vouchers to cover the breakfast. The buffet was expansive with high quality offerings, and the coffee was great. They also had a nice Starbucks cafe in the lobby and the member of staff operating it, I believe Lisette was super kind as well. Overall my friend and I enjoyed our stay here, and I will be back and highly recommend staying here.

Room was clean and beautiful view. Pool was small and 4ft. It wasnt that clean. Some cars dont know how to park right. There are a fee for breakfast. I got the room on a Friday night and customer service didnt explain what service i get or didnt feel welcome to the hotel. The housekeeping was super nice lady had my room clean. There is $50 a night despoti.
Pretty much everything about our room was bad. Where to start. - TV with a remote that barely works, and is somehow too loud and too quiet at the same time. I usually sleep with the TV on but it kept waking me up with inconsistent volume. - All 3 of our towels were stiff and unpleasant to use and they have the cheapest toilet paper they could find. - There is only 3 elevators and they are SLOW. We waited 5 minutes after pushing the button for it to arrive MULTIPLE times. One time it finally arrived to go down and had room service in it with her cleaning cart, she proceeded to tell us the elevator was going up and we couldn't get on, so we had to wait even longer. - Breakfast was mediocre, coffee was bad and was $20 per person. Could go to a decent restaurant for that. - The WORST part was the bed. What are these blankets made of? Deli paper? Stiff, loud, and uncomfortable. Some of the worst sleep ive ever had. Theres only 2 things that were ok - location - nearby to the mall and several food places we enjoyed - it was fairly clean Id never stay here again and has prolly deterred me from staying at ANY double tree at this point. Avoid.
Southern Hospitality...In More Ways Than One I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. As a Hilton Honors member, I've stayed at many Hilton properties and have come to expect professionalism, consistency, and hospitality. Unfortunately, my stay began with the exact opposite. From check-in, the front desk employee was cold, dismissive, and confrontational. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he was having a bad day. The next morning, I asked for directions to a class and was told to scan a QR code. After still being confused, I returned and was told the same thing. Moments later, a White woman asked the same question. Instead of being sent back to the QR code, she was personally escorted to the class and invited us to follow. I couldn't ignore the difference in how we were treated. Later that afternoon, while waiting for one of DoubleTree's famous cookies, I took a few photos of the beautiful, empty lobby. The same employee, who was assisting a White woman, loudly shouted, "Ma'am! You cannot take photos in here! I'm not going to be responsible for violating the privacy of our guests!" There were no guests present, and the restaurant wasn't even open. The interaction felt humiliating and unnecessarily accusatory. I can't speak to anyone's intentions, but I can speak to the impact. As a Black woman, I left those interactions feeling singled out, unwelcome, and discriminated against. Watching other guests receive warmth and personalized service while I repeatedly experienced dismissiveness led me to believe race played a role in my experience. No guest should ever leave a hotel questioning whether they were treated differently because of the color of their skin. After processing everything, I spoke with Ashleigh, who listened with compassion and helped me identify the employee involved. To both of our surprise, we realized it wasn't just another employee—it was Callan, the General Manager. Ashleigh connected me with Hilton Diamond Guest Services, where my concerns were handled with empathy and professionalism. A few days later, Dave, Director of Food & Beverage, reached out wanting to make things right. Before we met, Deluis from the front desk contacted me. That conversation changed everything. Deluis didn't defend or dismiss my experience. He listened. He acknowledged how the experience affected me as a Black woman and treated me with the empathy and hospitality I had hoped to receive from the start. Honestly, you would've thought he was the General Manager. A meeting was arranged with Dave and Kimba, and together they spent nearly an hour listening, answering questions, and taking accountability on behalf of the hotel. Over coffee, breakfast, and yes...finally...DoubleTree cookies, they completely changed my outlook on this property. For the rest of my stay, Dave, Kimba, and Deluis consistently checked on me. Ashleigh and Briana made me feel safe and supported as a woman traveling primarily alone, and Richard went above and beyond—even helping package and ship a giant Christmas decoration back to New York. One person's behavior nearly ruined my stay. An entire team refused to let it. Dave, Kimba, Deluis, Ashleigh, Briana, Richard, and the rest of the staff reminded me what true hospitality looks like. Callan may have been the reason I filed a complaint, but they are the reason I would consider returning. Hilton, your true leaders aren't always the ones with the title. They're the people who choose empathy over ego, accountability over defensiveness, and hospitality over hierarchy. Thank you to everyone who helped restore my faith in this hotel. And yes...they even sent a few cookies home with me. ❤️
OK. Nice lobby. Decent / OK service. Rooms are nice. I had a weird experience as a civilian entered into my room and said “sorry wrong room”. Have no idea how he got in using his key. Front desk / lobby said it couldn’t have happened but I was there. He walked into my room. Unpleasant.
