Great experience with staff and even the valet folks. Friendly and willing to give directions or advice when asked. Both even asked how my daughter and her team did each day they saw her (we were here for rhe Colorado Sparkler). Parking is ridiculous. Paying $20+ per day to park is not okay, particularly because of location and the amount paid for the hotel each night. And...we left a day early and they would not refund the amount for 24 hours I did not park there. The Benson is a lovely hotel...fix the parking fee issues and it will be perfect. The 4 out of 5 is for the parking debacle. Make this better!
The hotel is gorgeous but the service is not what one would encounter at most hotels of this caliber. When we couldn’t get the valet phone number to work, and I called the front desk, they seemed put out that i couldn’t contact valet directly. There was some deep sighing on their end. And when I requested to pay for an extended checkout, I was initially told “yes”. But then got corrected to “no” by the manager. I don’t think she knew I could hear her tone, but I could. The front desk agent was very apologetic, but it was a sour experience. I wasn’t asking for a *free* room, I wanted to pay the extra. There is actually signage in the room saying you can request this as an option. Also, no one asked how our stay was when I checked out. So that was in line with the rest of the stay. The rooms themselves are gorgeous and the hotel is beautiful. Their restaurant is also delicious. We ate there twice. The valet gentleman was very good, and took excellent care of our car.

I was quite disappointed with my this hotel. The rooms had a significant bug problem, and both the electrical outlets and air conditioning frequently stopped working. Considering the location, I found the prices to be way overpriced, and the overall service did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to others.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and the exceptional service provided by the staff. The team was well-organized and prepared, which made my experience truly memorable. It’s unfortunate to see our beloved chef depart, but I have faith that they can maintain this high standard of service as they welcome new staff members.
The Benson is the best place to stay if you’re searching for a quiet space close to the hospital. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is super accommodating. Patrice was especially helpful, and the entire staff were incredibly kind. I can’t speak highly enough about their hospitality. I also appreciate the art and having a restaurant and bar on-site. Valet parking is available, and self-parking across the street was $20 per day.
