I interacted with 3 dental employees and 2 front desk employees. All seemed knowledgeable and were friendly. It’s expensive though as one CT scan cost $150 not covered by insurance plus I had to pay $150 in advance for appointment with the periodontist.
So I've grown up never loving going to the dentist - not just because of the digging and prying in my mouth. The team here have completely changed my feelings on how great this experience could be. From Karen up front - seriously one of the most kind, professional admins I've ever seen to every hygienist that has done my cleanings. The experience here to me is the new standard. If you're in the market for a new dentist, look no further.
Couldn't find a more caring and professional group than The Dentists at Shadyside Place. They took a terrified patient and turned me into someone that looks forward to my appointments. Even after surgery my dentist called me at home to see how I was feeling. I tell everyone I know to check The Dentists out for care.
It's very very very hard to make an appointment. You are only able to call, you end up sitting on hold while you wait for someone to answer and then it will eventually go to voicemail. You will have to wait days for a call back and hope you happen to be at the phone at that time, or the process starts all over again. It's better just to go to their office and make it in person.
