Beautiful grounds. More than ample seating. Excellent location right next to Truist Park. Large field for laying out, football and other sports. Family friendly for the kids but also by great eating spots and bars. Restroom is usually clean, excellent people watching. 📲🔋🔌
A welcome retreat of little bit open space from the glass and concrete jungle of the uptown Charlotte. It is pretty small park, but with a small waterfall and decent views of the city, at least from a limited angle. The park also has public restrooms.
15-20 minute drive from CLT airport. Saw a corgi chase while i was there(the corgi was running away at full speed from its owner), which was really funny. About the park, it had a nice view of the buildings surrounding the park.

Romare Bearden Park is one of my favorite spots in Uptown Charlotte. It’s beautifully designed with open green lawns, interactive fountains, and public art that gives it a vibrant yet relaxing vibe. Whether you’re here for a walk, a picnic, or just to unwind, it always feels refreshing. The views of the skyline are fantastic, especially at sunset. There's often live music, food trucks, or small festivals on the weekends, so there’s always something going on. It’s clean, safe, and perfect for families, couples, or solo visitors. The location is also ideal—right by restaurants, museums, and the stadium. A perfect example of urban space done right.
During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of witnessing the breathtaking cherry blossoms in full bloom, which made the experience truly magical. The park’s serene atmosphere, combined with its stunning seasonal beauty, creates an ideal escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. Adding to its appeal, the surrounding area boasts a fantastic selection of restaurants, making it a great spot to enjoy a delicious meal before or after exploring this lovely urban oasis. Whether you're looking for a peaceful walk, a stunning photo backdrop, or a delightful dining experience, this hidden gem has it all!
