We wanted someone to take a look and do maintenance on a 15yo+ roof that, as far as we could tell, hadn't been maintained at all. Bryan from Matthews Roofing came out, assessed, took clear pictures of potential problem areas, answered all our questions, and sent over a reasonable estimate within 24 hours. The team came out a couple weeks later and gave the whole roof a makeover in one day. Very pleased with the work, the price, and communication through the process. Will absolutely stick with Matthews for regular maintenance and repairs.
Matthews Roofing repaired a significant leak problem on our flat roof. Bryan reviewed our situation and recommended a repair process to prevent future leaks from our solar panel posts. Once on site, Juan and crew did a great job replacing damaged sections and resealing areas that needed it. Communication from Bryan was clear and frequent. The crew left our property spotless. Brian came out to check our roof, I've gotten calls from people offering this kind of service and my fear has always been that they would look, talk to me about some storm that happened 8 months ago and how I can use my insurance to get me a new roof, I'd rather not. Brian was exactly the opposite, not only was he professional, he pointed out some key fixes to prevent leaking, brought a drone to share some images and even went up there himself to see if there are any more recommendations he has. We will be going with Brian and his company once we decide if we want to replace the entire roof or go for the repairs. I highly recommend you have him come out and check on your roof.
Great workmanship from a crew who knows what it takes to get the job done and safely. No short-cuts or questionable work ethics with Matthews, the job will be done right the first time and will last for decades, if taken care of properly. If you are looking for a complete flat roof tear-off and redo look no further than this company. They have plenty of experience and do excellent work, along with their brick sub-contractor who rebuilt our two chimneys along with the parapet walls. Great job. Thanks
Had them replace the roof of my house a couple years ago. They did a fantastic job. The installers were professional - not yelling and cursing at each other like other roofers of nearby jobs. Had a quote from another company with higher ratings but Matthews was cheaper by about 30% and provided more that we didn't ask the other company for. The roof looks great, we got everything we hope for, and have had zero issues since. Only con was the quoter/sales person said it'd take a couple days; on day 2, when it was clear they had a lot of work left to do (ended up taking 5 days), I asked the installers "2 days, huh?" and they laughed and asked who told me that. So take what the quoter says with a grain of salt. Otherwise, would definitely use again, but hope I won't need to :)
