We chose this place for our last night in Atlanta. Definitely worth waiting for. Server was attentive, friendly, informative and helpful. Food was served at the proper temperature and cooked to perfection. However, despite it being too cold inside (I did witness several others asking to be seated outside instead and hence the 4 Star rating), it was an overall amazing dining experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an incredible experience at Two Urban Licks! From the moment we walked in, we knew this place was special. We had the pleasure of meeting Dwight, one of the owners, and he couldn’t have been more welcoming. He took the time to show us around the restaurant, share a little of its story, and made us feel like honored guests rather than customers. To make the evening even more memorable, we happened to be our server’s very first table after completing training. You would have never known it! He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and absolutely knocked it out of the park. We were so impressed by his professionalism and personality. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Salmon Chips were packed with flavor and the Bison Empanadas were incredible. For dinner, we had the Pork Chop with Polenta, and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Every bite was delicious and beautifully prepared. One of the highlights of the evening was meeting Derrick in the kitchen. Watching him interact with guests, dance, and genuinely enjoy what he does was refreshing and inspiring. His passion for his work shines through and helps create the amazing atmosphere that makes Two Urban Licks so special. From the owners, to the kitchen, to the serving staff, every single person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the food is exceptional and the people are even better, but Two Urban Licks has mastered both. Thank you to Dwight, Derrick, our fantastic server, and the entire team for an unforgettable evening. We loved taking photos with Dwight and our server and will definitely be back. From the moment we pulled up, the valet service set a high standard – a seamless, professional, and welcoming start that immediately put us at ease. This standard continued inside; we were promptly and courteously seated, and the ambiance was perfect for her birthday meal. Our waiter, whose attentiveness and genuine warmth truly elevated the dining experience, was a highlight. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and their suggestions were spot-on, ensuring our choices were tailored perfectly to our tastes. And the food! My wife was absolutely delighted with her salmon chips – crisp, fresh, and bursting with flavor – and her grouper sandwich, which she described as perfectly flaky and perfectly seasoned. My own selections, the brisket empanadas and brisket hash, were equally divine. The empanadas offered a rich, savory bite with a perfectly flaky crust, while the hash was a hearty symphony of tender brisket and wonderfully spiced accompaniments. It wasn't just a meal; it was a great experience from start to finish. We left feeling not just satisfied, but genuinely cherished and impressed by every aspect of our visit. Live band was playing when we walked it. It was not my type of music but the custom service was nice. We sat at the high table in front of the cooking area. food was good. First time having salmon chips 🤭and atmosphere was pretty and nice. It was a beautiful date in a beautiful place. Music is live so it loud.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere and location, which we really enjoyed. The pork belly was delicious, but the salmon chips were a bit disappointing. We also tried the ribeye, skirt steak, and fish—everything was good, but nothing really stood out. Overall, it’s a nice place, just not exactly our taste in terms of flavors.
