We stayed for two nights while attending the Jo Koy concert and, unfortunately, we left very disappointed. For the price we paid, we honestly would have had a more comfortable stay at a Best Western. From the moment we checked in, the staff wasn't very welcoming or personable, which left a sour taste in our mouths from the start. Our room was also uncomfortable. The air conditioner wasn't positioned to cool the room well, there was no A/C in the bathroom, and the beds were so soft they offered almost no support. It felt like sleeping on a giant cotton ball. We were also disappointed to be charged the resort fee even though we couldn't take advantage of the amenities, as I have a broken arm and wasn't able to use the pool. The breakfast café was another letdown. The prices were outrageous for food that tasted like a basic continental breakfast. Paying $5 for a cup of coffee that tasted worse than gas station coffee was especially frustrating. The bright spots were the Chinese restaurant, which was excellent, and the valet service, which was incredibly convenient and appreciated in the extreme heat. Overall, for what we paid, this stay was far from impressive. We expected much better accommodations and customer service from a resort of this caliber. Unfortunately, we won't be staying here again.
This was an incredible stay! We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary and staff left us champagne, chocolates, a rose and a very nice card in our room! How awesome! The balcony king room was beautifully appointed, and the views were amazing!! This was a 5 star stay for us and we will definitely be back! Plus we were very lucky in the casino!! Highly recommend this resort! What a wonderful time we had!

I stayed 4 days for a conference and had a wonderful experience! From the time of check in to check out, the staff were friendly, courteous and accommodating. Terrell at the front desk was very happy to help me check in early when I arrived ahead of time. I was expecting to have of hang out in the casino like in Las Vegas but that was not the case. I was given a very clean and spaces room that had some of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in at a hotel. I only gave the room 4 stars because there was only one hook to hang a towel and the door to the separate toilet was a little tight. The food choices within the resort were good as well. I had no issue getting a table at anytime even though there were two conferences going on in addition to the customers there to watch sports and gamble. The wait staff in the restaurants and at the conference events were all very friendly. For a quick bite, I recommend the burger from the cafe. It was huge, cooked well and with fries, it was very reasonable for casino food. The pool was clean and there were plenty of chairs. Just be mindful the comfy blue ones are for rent. there were no signs posted but the staff were courteous asking me and my guest to move. Over all, I had a great stay and will definitely come back!
Visited Gila River Resorts & Casinos - Wild Horse Pass during a business trip with colleagues, and it was an exceptional experience. One evening after work, we decided to explore the property, and the entire resort offered a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere. The resort was modern, impeccably maintained, and beautifully designed, with elegant lighting, décor, and overall ambiance. The staff were courteous, attentive, and highly professional, which added to the overall positive experience. We spent the evening enjoying the atmosphere, dining options, live entertainment, and amenities throughout the resort. It truly enhanced our business trip and provided a great balance between work and leisure. The casino itself was vibrant and engaging, with a wide variety of entertainment options available. It is an excellent destination for anyone seeking a combination of relaxation, nightlife, and upscale hospitality. Overall, it was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would gladly visit again in the future.
We were on site in May 2026 for a conference. It was our second time returning to Gila River WHP and we are constantly blown away by the staff, facilities and attention to detail. A special shout out to Tara for all of her support in organizing the details for our event. We so appreciate you, Tara! We would also like to thank Maria in the business centre for all of her support. We can't thank her enough, she is truly an amazing asset! We also truly appreciate all of the efforts of the staff who supported us during our stay: Aaron Willars, Crystal Parrillo, Pinnace Live, Justin Lopez, Mike Crank, Kyle Thornburg, Manny, Jake and Justin, Anka, Theresa, Tucker, Tatsumi, Theresa, Michael, Melissa, Nicole, Chrsitina, Sean Currid, Eric Larson and Mesaya Rowden! Thank you to all of the reception staff, housekeeping and everyone at the resort who made our conference INCREDIBLE!
