We had a great experience with our air-conditioning technician, Chris. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, punctual, and clearly knew what he was doing. Chris was able to quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything in a way that actually made sense, and walked us through our options without any pressure. The repair was done efficiently, and everything has been working perfectly since. He also took the time to make sure everything was clean and in good shape before leaving, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work - we actually signed up for the maintenance package as part of the work today!
Revised review: AC started dripping again the next morning and was not properly Fixed. Technician said to keep an eye on it and call back if there was an issues since it was working the day before when he unclogged and looked over the whole unit. I called and texted several times, but still have not been reached out to by dispatch to get this issue fixed. I’m pretty upset after having a great experience the first day And now I can’t get anyone to reach out and resolve the issue.

Cody is the best! I can’t say enough good things about his plumbing knowledge, attention to detail, and overall care about his craft and customers. Cody literally sat down with me and answered a list of questions I made before he arrived. He then checked the rest of our home and gave a full report of its health. It is obvious how much he enjoys helping customers with their plumbing needs. And of course, he gave our pup Archie lots of love, which makes him a 10/10 in our eyes!
After initially giving a 5-star review based on the friendliness of the technician, I'm unfortunately downgrading it to a 1 star. The technician told us that we had too much refrigerant and 575 psi. Additionally, he said that our compressor was pulling too many amps (72) upon start-up. In addition to several times trying to upsell us to join a monthly or annual maintenance plan (that doesn't include repairs) he wanted to charge around $1280 to put in new refrigerant. After calling a different company, Sun Glow (which I would highly recommend), we discovered that, in reality, there is no issue with our AC system including the refrigerant and the compressor. Whereas the central air technician told me that if we kept running our AC with high pressure, then it could almost explode with a big popping sound and completely stop working. What I learned from the sunglow technician is that the system has an auto shut off in such situations and it actually are pressure at both. Inside and out is just fine. I also learned that our breaker is set for 50 amps. So if the AC were really pulling 72 amps like the central air technician said then it would pop the breaker. I don't know a lot about this kind of stuff. I'm not an expert, but it does appear that central air is using some very shady business practices. Be warned!
Bryce came to do our annual summer maintenance. This is the first time meeting Bryce. He was on time, very professional and personable. I appreciate the customer service that is a hallmark of Central Air. In addition to the high quality service, it’s one of the main reason I continue to be a customer! Keep up the excellent work!!!!
