There aren't enough adjectives to describe the Museum of Illusions. Friendly, informative greeting at the door. Informed, knowledgeable guides throughout the museum. Advice on the best places to stand for getting great photos ! Everything is interactive and engaged all ages in our party..from 10 years old to 78 years young ! Really good gift shop with price points that allow a wide range of choices. Parking was easy. We had a blast !!
It was cool, but way too expensive and way too short. It was around 122.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids....maybe lasted 45mins. Something like this should be 15bucks a person, so im giving it a 2 star for pricing vs. Experience
Really fun and educational way to spend some time. It's a self guided tour, all on one level, the museum is organized nicely, and the staff were incredible. They were all so kind and interested in helping you understand the exhibit and taking pics if you need them to, they really were great! We went with friends and their 9yo and all of us enjoyed! It took about an hour to get through all the exhibits, some we spent more time than others. The gift shop has some pretty cool gifts. Fun for kids, teens, and adults.

Meh. We were looking for something to do in Dallas that wouldn't take the whole day as i was due back in Laredo for work the next day. The Museum of illusions (MOI) had openings for early morning. We really wanted to do the balloon museum, but it didn't open until 1 p.m. Our time slot at MOI was for 11:20. We were a little late but it was ok because the time slot is just to help regulate the flow of visitors. The experience is what you make of it. We tried every illusion and took a ton of pictures. It was fun when we all participated, but it is hard to impress teenagers. MOI is best experienced with several people. Maybe 2 couples? Alot of the illusions i had already seen online, but we took the time to re-examine them anyway. My favorite was the last illusion in the spinning tube that causes vertigo. What a great feeling. My family had to drag me out of there. We took our time and still completed the experience in less than an hour. The price to experience ratio was steep. 50% cost would be in order.
Pretty cool and educational place! The layout was easy to navigate on our self-guided tour. The staff were very helpful with taking pictures and helping everyone understand the exhibits. We had a really good time!
