I was recommended to taking a stress test for no reason other than having a family history of heart problems. I was billed five figures for something I didn't need or request. Recently, my prescriptions stopped being filled without notice. When I inquired about this the third time I was told my PCP had dropped me as a patient with zero explanation, leaving me without essential medications. Vanderbilt Medical was nothing but impersonable and also partook in predatory medical billing. They're too big of an operation to provide more the bare essentials at the time an appointment is scheduled, you're simply a number. Allowing them to handle my medical matters was simply a horrible mistake. I couldn't be less impressed.
I had a PCP here in 2021. Before I used the Student Health Center.

I take my daughter here for allergy shots. Very helpful staff. Parking is a neat challenge. I just park in the J. Alexander's lot since we're only there for 30 minutes. They'll never know. They have too many reserved spaces anyway.
The PA was great, took his time seeing me and making sure he addressed all my concerns, but I had to wait around an hour after getting there to be seen. Seems like they booked my appointment during their lunch period… and just left me in the clinic by myself while they ate? In my opinion, not a cool move, especially because I had to miss a class and they could’ve just booked me for a different time.
I have been searching for answers and treatment for Chronic to severe Crohn's and Possibly Lupus all the way from California to Nashville and having no insurance, I finally feel that I have found a reassuring place that shows real compassion and concerns to improve people's health and well being. Because of their excellent staff and the nurse was so thorough on asking the right questions. I was able to get the best referral to the specialist and all before the Holidays.. This has been the Best Christmas 🎄🎅🎁Gift EVER.... Again Thank You Vanderbilt Primary Care for being the ones that have a true heart❤️for health care.
